Stephen's POV
Stepping into the quaint little milk tea shop, I sensed Eric's gaze fixated on me. I turned, meeting his intense eyes, and a wave of nervous anticipation coursed through my veins. This was our first intimate lunch together, just the two of us, and my heart danced wildly in my chest, a rhythmic symphony of emotions.
Eric's gaze swept across the cozy interior, a subtle hint of surprise gracing his handsome face. "I never expected this place," he admitted, his voice laced with intrigue.
I shrugged, aiming for an air of nonchalance. "I thought we'd venture into uncharted territory. I've heard that their sandwiches are beyond incredible."
Eric hesitated, uncertainty clouding his expression. "Sandwiches and milk tea?" He arched an eyebrow, amusement twinkling in his eyes. "An interesting combination, I guess."
