Eric's POV
As I stood under the mistletoe with Stephen, our bodies pressed tightly together, I felt like time had stopped. Our lips were locked in a passionate kiss, and the world around us faded into a blur. But then, the moment was shattered by the sound of the front door being flung open.
But just as the passion between us intensified, Gary barged in and shattered the moment. "I'm so sorry about this gentleman, but Eric," he paused, his eyes locked onto mine. "Your father knew about tonight."
My heart sank as I tried to make sense of the situation. How could my father have known? We had been so careful, avoiding social media and any potential slip-ups.
But as we made our way downstairs, it became clear that my father was not happy.
"Eric, you have five minutes to say your thanks and goodbye, but it's time that we go." Father said sternly, his eyes fixed on me.
