Tower.

While the awakeners in the world were in a grueling battle to save humanity,. The strongest Borjana was currently sitting on an inhabited island. She had an expressionless face while waiting for something. Her expectations were not for naught when an abomination began to step out of the portals that were currently appearing throughout the world.

The abomination that emerged from the portal was a creature of many faces and disparate body parts. Visible were the features of a lion, goblin, caterpillar, centipede, and various monsters. It was as if this creature had leaped out of the pages of a fairytale. This creature was a chimera.

"Oh, a chimera, and quite a repulsive one. Hehe, I can't wait to stretch my limbs after such a long time," Borjana remarked in her Serbian accent. She was about to confront the true terror of this worldwide onslaught of monsters. Yet she was not the least bit scared, for she had witnessed far greater horrors.

The Tower is the only place that can draw a smile from her when she gazes upon the Chimera. Summoned by the Tower, she has been ascending ever since. The Tower's enigmatic presence defies explanation, even after eons. It is a nexus where the universe's diverse races converge to ascend. The summit remains a mystery, but she knows that only the chosen are allowed to climb, and she was among them.

After the chimera completed its descent, she rose and brushed off her backside, which had gotten dirty from sitting on the ground. She gazed at the chimera, and in the blink of an eye, she seized the whip and lashed at the creature's hide. The chimera's skin started to corrode where the whip struck. Following the initial lash, she unleashed a flurry of over a dozen strikes. She had increased her body speed to tenfold her usual pace, exploiting the basic principles of speed.

She had the option to slow herself down if she desired, yet doing so would have rendered the battle dull. By merely reducing her speed before each maneuver, she could have effortlessly dodged the chimera's assaults. While this would have made evading the attacks simple, it would have stripped the fight of any excitement.

After she was done with her strikes, the chimera fell down and began to sizzle. The whip she used was made up of acidic properties and more than that too. After she was done with the chimera, she sat down and began to wait for the translucent screen that always appeared after completing a mission.

Moments later, her smile broadened upon seeing the rewards for aiding the earth through the crisis. With nothing else pressing, she disappeared and returned to the tower to resume her ascent. Being among the most skilled and swiftest climbers ever to grace the tower, she harbored the hope that it would summon some of the newly awakened to join the climb.

(A.N. I'm still in disbelief that Arsenal and Liverpool squandered their leads. It's just unbelievable. Also, hats off to Bayer Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso for their achievements. I've just learned that Leverkusen was Alonso's first senior team manager. And that delivered in grand style.)
