Love In A Lonely Place

[PARK]

"Hello, Alpha Park. I see you're doing well. I'm still upset you left without telling me. But that is a story for another day. I hear Berto killed your father and I'm here to make sure that HE doesn't return," Agust said.

"Who?" Jiminie asked.

"Your father, of course. I am here to make sure he stays dead and that you're happy, my beautiful Jiminie," Agust said and Jiminie wished the ground would open and swallow him.

Jiminie knew there were a lot of things wrong with Agust, but hearing the psycho King confess to killing his father was not something that the alpha had imagined. It was so out of pocket and so unrealistic.

As far as he was concerned, Jiminie knew Agust's fight was with him, because he was the most powerful wolf alive. Jiminie was the greatest challenge that stood in Agust's way of eliminating the last living werewolf pack on the supernatural side of the realm.

All the other wolves that survived other packs had run for safety and were blended with the humans. Only the Kiyoto pack was standing and Jiminie was the reason for it. So going after the alpha's father made no sense.

But if Jiminie had learned something, it was that Agust never just woke up to be a nuisance. He was a nuisance, but everything he did was meticulous, and that raised even more questions.

"Why? What did he do to you? I am the reigning alpha and you already had me, the only obstacle in your power-yielding mission. So why come after my father? You guys never interacted and he didn't even come after your Lycans.

"What wrong did he do that you would come to kill him and then come back to me in your goddamned palace then?' Jiminie asked and Agust laughed at his statement. It was almost like the alpha was the one with stupid questions.

Agust was staring at the luna, almost like he wanted to strangle the woman. The devil of a King had heard what she told his Jiminie and he despised her for it. He hated that even home was not home for his Jiminie.

"It's simple really, my beautiful Jiminie," Agust said and Jiminie wanted to stop him and tell him that he was not Agust's Jiminie, but then he loved being claimed by Agust. He loved being the one that Ming Xiao Zhu called his.

He loved it so much because he knew this bastard king may have even the devil, but he was weirdly genuine when it came to Jiminie. He was protective and psychotic, and always lost his mind when it came to the pretty alpha.

That shouldn't have been comforting for the alpha, but what else could he do, when the devil was the first person to treat him like someone worth being loved and protected, not to mention someone worth fighting for?

"I killed your father, Park Dae Hee… Because he hurt you in ways that no one ever did. He broke your heart and stumped on the pieces. He ruined your trust and the love in your heart. Your father was nothing honorable, sweetheart.

"I came after him, for you. And if you want me to kill your mother too, I can do it here and now. No one in Kiyoto will even know about it. I could make them forget about your useless parents.

"I can make them forget that there was ever an alpha and a stupid ass luna who sat and watched as her husband did the shit he did to you," Agust said and Jiminie faltered. He hadn't been expecting this from Agust.

He had so many questions on what the fuck had happened, but the Agust had to have been watching him for years. Even then that still didn't explain what the king had done. It just made no sense.

"What?" Jiminie asked while his mother stared at the King incredulously. Honestly, the king sounded unhinged, but then he was Agust, so him being unhinged was something that was normal. But would it be so this time?

"I promised you I'll kill them all, remember? Your father and those men who molested you, are dead. The men weren't found because I burnt them. As for your father, I left his body so your mother could mourn her pervert of a husband.

"Oh, wait… You were in a nightmare that day. Maybe you didn't hear me then… But don't worry, I'll remind you later, my love. Anyway, what do you say we do to Jieun-a, the useless mother?" Agust asked with a sinister smile and Luna Park stared in shock.

Of the things that could have happened, Agust showing up here was into it, and even worse, his coming to defend the kid she had failed to protect. Luna Park Jieun was in trouble and she didn't even have to see Agust's face to know that.

But would she just give in because Agust was here?

"You have some nerve coming here and taking credit for the greatest loss in the pack. What did you expect, huh? That we would rejoice? That my son would be excited that you're here? Get the fuck out, Ming Xiao. This is no place for a Lycan," Luna Park warned.

Once again, Agust smirked at the luna, while Jiminie was staring in silence. He wasn't sure how to react to this. He wanted to say it was a violation of his privacy, but at the same time, he wanted to run to Agust and hug him.

This devil made him feel so safe and he wanted to be there. Oh, but if only it was that simple.

"You need to leave, Xiao Xiao," Jiminie said and Agust turned to look at him with warm eyes. He loved it when Jiminie called him that, and even though he was being kicked out, he didn't mind.

"Are you okay, my soul?" Agust asked as he looked at his Erasthai.

"Please," Jiminie begged.

"Okay, baby, okay," Agust said softly, as he pulled Jiminie into a hug, holding him delicately like a flower he needed to protect. Agust didn't push, he didn't try to stay, he just kissed Jiminie on the forehead.

"I'll go. But be careful sweetheart… If I feel your pain, I'll always show up. Heads will roll for every tear you shed, my beautiful," Agust said reassuringly, and Jiminie sighed.

He finally knew who had killed his father, but then how was he supposed to explain that to his people? How was he to make them understand that his father was murdered by the psycho because the psycho king was protecting him? Oh, Jiminie.

"Okay," Jiminie nodded, before Agust disappeared like he hadn't even been there in the first place leaving Jiminie with his mom.

Luna Park was furious, but there was none more furious than her son.

They had fucked him up one too many times and he didn't care anymore. Maybe it was expected, but when Jiminie spoke, Luna Park knew she wouldn't be able to convince the broken Alpha otherwise.

"Don't say a word of what happened here to anyone, or I'll kick you out first," Jiminie said, as he looked at his mother. He still hurt from the words his mother had used, the same words that had summoned Agust to their home.

"You can't be serious—"

"Do what you want and you will have to look for someone to stand up for Kiyoto against Agust, Mother."
