Future’s Gonna Be Okay, My Beautiful

[PARK]

"Mimi… You're awake, son," Luna Park said as she looked at her son.

"How long have I been out?" Alpha Park asked and his mother just stared at him softly. He wasn't sure what she would say but he sure hoped that she wouldn't say he was out for days on end.

He had already missed out on so much when he was with Agust, he couldn't do that again. Maybe this was his chance at a normal life, but why did the alpha feel like there were thousands of strings attached to his freedom from the Lycan king?

"An hour… how are you feeling?" Luna Park asked and her son looked at her defeatedly. He wasn't sure what had happened to him, but it certainly had to do with the fact that he was so tired he couldn't even think straight.

"Father… we need to give him a proper burial," Alpha Park said as he struggled to sit up, but his body was so weak. He hated feeling like this, it reminded him of a time when he was so weak and couldn't fight for himself.

It reminded him of the day he had been kidnapped by the psycho king and used by him. Granted, Jiminie had had fun with Agust but it was at the expense of his own sanity. He had done what he needed to do for survival.

"Easy there child. Your father died three days ago. We buried him on the same day as per the Kiyoto customs. I was running the pack, but with you back, there is no need for me to be there," Luna Park said and Alpha Park stared, again.

So much had happened and he wasn't even aware of it. He had been too busy begging to be fucked senseless, while his father was being murdered? Oh, but the alpha was feeling a different kind of rage.

He hated that his father had died and he hated that Agust had definitely been the one to do it. He wasn't sure what the motive was but then what else could he do? He was back in Kiyoto and needed to protect his people.

Alpha Park knew he was the hope of Kiyoto and he had to do everything to keep his people going. His mother was clearly still struggling to hold on, but then there was only so much that she could do before she fell apart.

It was a truth that Alpha Park knew and he had to figure it out himself. He had to work through it and make sure that he got to the bottom of all this and saved his people from the shell that was the Lycan kingdom.

"What happened to him? How the fuck did Berto get to after? He is supposed to be a strong alpha. What the fuck happened that day? Where was everyone?" Alpha Park asked angrily and his mother looked at him incredulously.

"Are you seriously going to ask us that?" Luna Park asked angrily.

"Where the fuck were YOU Park Jimin? When the fuck did you ever get kidnapped? By anyone for that matter? A whole week. You were fucking gone for a whole week and the Lycans attacked.

"Y'know one of them said you were at the Lycan palace, and I was worried about my son. My sweet son who never hurt anyone unless he had to. I was worried about what he would do to you.

"I told your father to come seek you out. I sent him to go after you, and he didn't even make it past the gates because the Lycans were here. And guess who was killed? Just one! Your father. I lost the love of my life because I was worried for you.

"Now don't you sit there and ask questions about what the fuck happened when you should be the one answering my questions. You are a strong alpha. Why the fuck did you come home with Ming Xiao Zhu's scent all over you?

"Why the fuck were you in his clothes? Did you sleep with him too? Was that why he let you go? That man never lets anyone leave alive, and yet somehow you're here, alive and well. Tell me, Jimin.

"How wide did you have to open your cunt to that bastard so he would let you go?" Luna Park said and Jiminie let out a loud warning growl that sent the entire pack house shaking. He had been patient with his mother through the years.

Alpha Park was never the kind to be angry. He may have been powerful but he was an alpha who knew how to control himself and keep himself sane. He was a good alpha to his people and beyond that, he was a beast in every form.

"Mother—" Alpha Park warned as he looked at his mother. His eyes were dark and cruel. He looked like he had no soul and for an alpha known for mercy and kindness, the son looking at Luna Park was different. He didn't have a soul and rightfully so.

His mother knew what his father had done to him, and yet Luna Park had simply forced his son to pop abortion pills so their reputation would be clean. The woman never cared whether her son was well or not.

The only thing that ever mattered to her was the reputation of their house. A house that should have been home to Jiminie, but then that was all it was ever going to be. A house that meant nothing to him.

"Careful, Jieun-a, that's mine you're messing with. Tread very carefully because you might be next after your husband," Agust suddenly popped up and Jiminie facepalmed. Where the fuck was this man from and what the heck was he even doing in Kiyoto?

"No. This can't be real. No," Luna Park said as she looked at her son, who was staring at her coldly.

"I've been called so many things, Park Jieun, but unreal? That's gotta be new," Agust said with a smirk on his face as he watched his erasthai on the bed, looking like he wanted to disappear.

The king could see the pain in the alpha's eyes and honestly, he wanted to kill the luna for being harsh to his erasthai. He wanted to send her to her husband because then his Jiminie would be free and wouldn't have to worry about who wanted him or not.

Jiminie's family had broken him over the years and Agust was determined to fix it all.

Sure, Agust was the bastard of bastards, but when it came to his Jiminie's wellbeing, no line was too thick to cross. He would burn down civilizations for his Jiminie, and that was a truth that Jiminie would soon learn.

Staring at his mother, Jiminie was pissed as fuck. He wanted to teach his mother a lesson on what it meant to be family. He wanted to remind his mother of her transgressions and yet the only thing he could see was King Ming Xiao Zhu.

His Agust.

The horror on his mother's face was proof that she could see him too.

Well, this was about to get awkward.

"What the fuck are you even doing here? Did you miss the gates to your great kingdom, oh mighty Agust, hmm?" Alpha Park asked, glaring at the man who was making him weak by just being here.

He had long submitted to this king and honestly, he was getting all mushy and shit. His wolf was excited to see Agust here in the flesh. With Agust, however twisted it had all been, Jiminie was sure he was safe.

He was safe from the cruel words of his mother, safe from all the pain that he had experienced in Kiyoto. The pain had gotten him to defend himself and keep himself so safe to the point that his people thought he was the strongest alpha.

He was just good at protecting himself, but with Agust, he never had to.

"Hello, Alpha Park. I see you're doing well. I'm still upset you left without telling me. But that is a story for another day. I hear Berto killed your father and I'm here to make sure that HE doesn't return," Agust said.

"Who?" Jiminie asked.

"Your father, of course. I am here to make sure he stays dead and that you're happy, my beautiful Jiminie," Agust said earnestly, and Jiminie wished the ground would open and swallow him.
