Faking a Story with the Doll

Eternity almost dropped the tea that she was about to place on the coffee table before the siblings. She turned to face Cynthia, and her green eyes widened. She opened her mouth to answer, but no words came out.

She didn't know what to say.

"Eternity?" Cynthia frowned, noticing how Eternity froze completely.

Eternity began to panic inside.

She didn't know what elaborate lie she could make up on the spot. Unlike Evan, who had proven to be able to lie with a straight face, Eternity was unable to do such a thing.

Although she was a sex doll, she had her own moral compass.

As weird as it may sound.

It just didn't sit right with her to lie to someone who vulnerably shared her past with her.

Cynthia's concerned gaze shifted from Eternity to Evan, who had noticed Eternity's distress. He cleared his throat and gave Eternity a reassuring smile before turning his attention back to his sister.
