"Evan—Oh?" The woman began, but as soon as she realized that it was another person, and not Evan, who opened the door, her long lashes that were thickly coated by mascara fluttered. "Y-you must be Evan's girlfriend!"

Even though her words were acknowledging Eternity's position as Evan's lover, for some reason, Eternity felt a strong sense of defensiveness and loathing towards this woman.

She immediately recognized who she was. This was the woman in the video—the same one who jumped at Evan, wrapping her arms around his neck as if they belonged there.

"How may I help you?" Eternity remained polite, even though it was taking all of her energy not to shove this woman off the railings of the apartment complex.

"Oh, sorry." She laughed wearily, seemingly taken aback by Eternity for some unknown reason. "I'm looking for Evan Holz."
