Doll in an Amusement Park

"So," Edelweiss drawled as she leaned on the backrest of the bench, stretching her arms upward. "I thought this would be a girl's hangout. Why are you here?"

"Because," Evan emphasized, sitting on the other end of the bench. "I want Eternity's first time in an amusement park—in Berlin," he added to not raise suspicions that this was, in fact, Eternity's first time in an amusement park in her less than 1 month of 'life'. "To have a woman she just met a day ago take her away."

Edelweiss rolled her eyes. "I'm sure Eternity doesn't mind, right?" She looked at the doll, who was giddily looking around the place. "Eternity?"

Eternity stiffened as she was sandwiched between the two of them, realizing that they were waiting for a response from her.

"Oh, sorry, can you repeat that?" She requested it shyly. "I was so preoccupied analyz—examining my surroundings that I didn't hear your question."

A trail of sweat dripped down the side of Evan's face.
