Once they were inside the Ferris wheel pod, they sat directly in front of each other. Evan wanted to ask why Eternity didn't sit beside him, but the look of utter disappointment on Eternity's face as the pod ascended made him laugh out loud.
"Not what you were expecting?" He asked, wiping the happy tears forming in his eyes.
Eternity pouted, crossing her arms childishly. "I just didn't expect it to be... so slow."
"Well, Eternity, Ferris wheels are meant to be slow and gentle," he explained, a teasing glint in his eyes. "It's all about enjoying the view and the company, not about speed."
Eternity exhaled loudly through her nose, expressing her dissatisfaction.
"I guess I was just used to the earlier rides we tried." She mumbled. "You know, something that got my heart racing and your stomach churning."
"Don't remind me!" Evan glared. "Just thinking about the rollercoaster ride a while ago is making me nauseous."
