Evan arched an eyebrow, mirroring her posture as he leaned in to join her gaze out into the evening sky.
"Shouldn't I be the one saying that to you?" He countered, though there wasn't a hint of malice in his tone.
"Now that you mention it," Eternity replied, her eyes half-lidded as she chuckled. "That sounded ironic coming from me."
She turned her attention from the view outside to Evan as her laughter subsided and a thoughtful expression took its place. Suddenly, she shifted closer to him and leaned forward as if to share a secret, drawing Evan's attention.
"Though, I 𝘢𝘮 curious," he said, eyeing her with his azure eyes that seemed to look bluer under the moonlight. "What do you mean by 'more human?'"
Eternity's lips curled into a mischievous smirk as she leaned in, opening her mouth as if to whisper something, drawing him closer.
