Madison POV

I jumped out of bed, sweat dripping off me, I look around the dark empty bedroom to find some sort of intruder or something, but it’s just the darkness that’s looking back at me. I wipe my forehead and try to slow down my breathing. The dream came flooding back again, but it didn’t really feel like a dream or a memory. It felt real, like that evil creature was right here with me. The evil laugh bounced around my head, it echoes and sends shivers down my spine. I try to shake it off, but the terror has been seeped within my bones. I shakenly grab a glass of water off my bedside table. I take a mouthful of the cool water, still feeling the fear still seeping in my bones and the swat dripping off my face, I dip my hands into my glass of water and sprinkle some on my face. Slightly cooling me down. I take another gulp of water and decide to climb back into bed. The fear has still got a hold of me, but I decided to brush it off and try to go back sleep.

I wake that morning to the sunlight shining through the slightly open curtain. I look around a little groggy and dazed from slumber. Then the memory of the nightmare that occurred early last night came flooding back. I shook again in fear but brushed it off. I got up out of bed and walked over to my closet to find something to wear, my eyes spotted a pretty lavender dress and pale white flats, and I chose that I would wear them today. After getting myself dress, I sauntered over to my vanity, I didn’t want to look at my appearance as I know how I would look. I brush my hair and put it into plat, normally I would leave it like that, but decided to end it with a pale white ribbon tied in a bow. I head downstairs and notice it still breakfast time, so I decided to head towards the dining room to get something to eat. I could hear the boys mucking around as usual, but the voice that followed afterwards made me freeze, Aunt Ce. She’s back. The fear again, seeped within my bones again, but the rumble of my stomach made it clear that I need food. So, I push the fear down to the bottom of my stomach and waltz into the dining room, all eyes, set upon me. I scuttled to my spot at the table and put some fruit, cheese and meat onto my plate, Gretta handed me a fresh hot cup of tea. The boys went back to their normal selves. I could still feel my Aunt’s eyes gazing on me every now and then, the words that demon spoke flooded my brain, “Slave”, could it be true. Could she really be serving some sort of demonic force, and what did she mean but my Aunt will want me to do something. I finish off my breakfast, with those thoughts surrounding my mind, after I finished, I decided to head out into the garden, and get some fresh air. When I get outside, I take a deep breathe and look for a good quiet spot to sit. That’s when I remembered the sitting area in the rose garden. It’s the once place I know that no one, besides from me goes in that area. Just as I’m about to sit down, I hear clicking of heels heading my way, not knowing who it is and hoping its not my Aunt, I thought it best to hide within a small bush. Just ask I got down, and made sure I was properly hidden away, I notice a young long-haired blonde coming towards where I was just mere seconds ago. I couldn’t see who she was as half of her face was covered by her hair. She stops close by; she brushes her hair from her face. I pale at the sight of the woman; I would never forget those dark blue eyes. As she is the reason for the death of my family, Sofia Ashe.
