Gu Chen no longer spoke, striding out.
Yu Yang shook his heavy backpack and hurriedly followed behind.
Gu Chen had a reserved private room in a restaurant near the Shen Fei Building, and it wasn't until after they had entered the room and ordered their meal that Gu Chen took off the mask on his face.
Yu Yang had been eyeing Gu Chen with confusion, only now noticing that his friend's face was swollen and red.
"Ayaya—"
Yu Yang leaned in close to get a better look at Gu Chen's face, uttering incomprehensible exclamations.
Gu Chen didn't look up, instead pushing Yu Yang away with one hand.
"I'm saying, Gu Chen, it's been a while, have you put on weight?"
Yu Yang stood close to the swollen side of Gu Chen's face, his body pushed far back, but that didn't stop his incessant chattering.
Gu Chen rolled his eyes without responding.
"That's not right, you've put on weight, but it doesn't seem to be evenly distributed, let me take a closer look."
