"Pathetic!"
Gu Chen's tone was indifferent as he swept the boxes aside.
At that moment, several waiters filed in one after another, serving the dishes they had ordered.
"The dishes are ready, Mr. Gu, please enjoy your meal."
It was the same waiter as before, who glanced at the gifts on the table and then gave Yu Yang, who was slightly nervous, an ambiguous look, thinking he was bribing Gu Chen by giving gifts during the meal.
Yu Yang caught that ambiguous glance.
Before he could say anything, the waiter had already left, and he called out anxiously, "What does this mean, why did she look at me like that? What does she mean by that?"
Gu Chen, however, had already calmly picked up his chopsticks. He looked at Yu Yang's ragged clothes and skin that was four or five shades darker than his own.
"Haven't you looked at yourself in the mirror?" he asked.
