Chapter 85 Mrs. Astir's Letter_1

"Basil Jaak, are you okay?" Mr. Joseph asked Basil Jaak.

Basil Jaak shook his head: "I'm fine, just grazed by a bullet."

In the African wilderness, the battles Basil Jaak experienced were much more dangerous than tonight's. He had countless wounds, big and small. A mere bullet graze, like the one tonight, was nothing to him.

Mr. Joseph wasn't stingy with his praise. He patted Basil Jaak on his uninjured shoulder, approvingly laughing, "Ah, to be young!"

Jessica Flack, seeing that peace had returned outside, couldn't help opening the car door and getting out. She jogged over to Basil Jaak and saw the blood soaked his clothes, she was scared, anxiously calling out to Mr. Joseph, "Mr. Joseph, he's bleeding so much. What are you waiting for? Take him to the hospital as soon as possible!"

In her tone, there was a slight reproach, which startled Mr. Joseph. He looked at Jessica Flack in surprise, feeling that this young lady didn't seem like her usual self.
