In the vast ocean, even though Basil Jaak and Fenny Marshall escaped the capture of the Eternal Night Queen, they were at a loss regarding what to do next.


However, their ship had both food and drink, and thus, they managed to survive. After all, one of them was the leader of a mercenary, and the other worked as a national security agent.


After aimlessly sailing for two hours, they finally sighted the outline of land, bringing an overdue excitement to their gloomy faces.


Fenny Marshall, thrilled, jumped up and cheered, "We finally see land! We are finally liberated."


Basil Jaak, however, dampened her spirits by pessimistically reminding her, "Don't celebrate too soon. What if it's the Island of Despair?"


"You pessimist!" Fenny Marshall snapped at him, scowling.
