panic

I.....i tried my best Evan believe me but we have still not found him, Patrick said still crying.

Evan was shocked to hear that it had been already three months,he went into shock and fell down sitting with a shocked face silent tears were falling from his eyes ,after that Evan couldn't hear anything that the people present there were saying going totally numb he cried and cried remembering that night again.

He was took down from the terrace and taken back to his room ,he sat on his bed ,he didn't talk to anyone nor moved ,he stayed like that for two hours still recovering from the shock.

After two hours he came to his senses and suddenly got up from his bed and lunged at Patrick.

You are lying right,i know you are , it's impossible that three months have already passed ,it was just yesterday when Lucas told me that he liked me how can you lie huh,you crazy bastard why are you lying to me, Evan yelled while tears were rolling down his cheeks continuously.

Tell me ,i asked something ,answer me ,answer me ,please tell me that you are lying,please Patrick.

Evan , i am sorry but that's the truth you need to come on terms with reality,it has already been three months since that night, Evan please , Patrick said hugging him tightly.

No Patrick please ,i...i don't wanna believe it ,please tell me.... Evan said crying while hugging Patrick back.

Evan cried in Patrick's embrace for a long time remembering everything that happened that night,after crying his heart out Evan fell asleep.

Evan was deep in sleep when he heard some noises continuously disturbing his sleep,he opened his eyes and saw two policemen were in the room talking to Patrick about something, Evan got up rubbing his eyes and asked.

What's wrong Patrick.

Evan ,they want to ask you some questions about that night to help them with their investigation,are you comfortable with that, Patrick said looking worried.

We need to know some things from you Mr. Evan ,it's really important for our investigation,one of the police man said.

Hmm, please ask me , Evan said looking down at his hands.

What were you doing there at that night,the policeman asked.

I went there to meet Lucas ,i... Wanted to propose him and since not many people are passing by there at that time so i asked him to meet me there . Evan said .

Did anyone else know you were going there, did you tell someone about meeting him .the policeman asked.

No , no-one knew ,not even my family, Evan answered again trying to be as clear as possible with his answers .

Can you tell us in detail what you saw that night,the policeman asked.

... Evan took a short pause and said.

That night when Lucas came there i told him about my feelings and he said he also felt the same for me then he asked me to buy him an ice cream ,i agreed and went to get an icecream,when i returned and was waiting for the signal to change, i looked at Lucas and suddenly a van stopped.... infront of him and someone hit him on the head , Lucas fell down as soon as I saw this i ran towards him .....after that i don't remember anything.

Did you see that person's face or something that can identify him .the policeman asked .

No ,it was dark and i was panicking so i didn't see anything. Evan said trying to hold his tears .

Then is there someone who had a fight with Lucas or didn't like him or anything of the sorts or any personal quarrel with someone.the policeman asked.

I just know Lucas from a few months and he has not told me anything about himself except that he is an orphan and has no one in this world. Evan said .

The policeman shook his head in disappointment and said.

Is there someone who is really close to Lucas who can know something about him.

Evan thought for a moment and said.

I only know fuse who was close to him all this time but i am sure you have already met him and if he doesn't know then i don't think anyone else knows about Lucas.
