Secret

Luca stared at Ethan in disbelief.

The entire time, Sophia had an omega at her side and she didn't have any idea. The fact that the two of them had never liked one another made all the more sense. Two omegas being with one another was rare considering they naturally sought more dominating partners.

"And why the hell shouldn't I tell Sophia?" Luca asked, defending her while she wasn't there. "A lot of grief on her side could have been avoided if she knew that there was another omega close to her."

Ethan's expression became more miserable. He felt unbelievably guilty.

"I wasn't sure if she really was an omega," Ethan admitted quietly. "I moved to the city when I was in high school because I needed to be close to an omega hospital. When I first saw her I knew that she had the traits of an omega but the lack of heats told me she wasn't like me. I just felt safe with her."
