Who He Should Have Always Been

Sophia got ready for bed as she usually did, but the only difference was that rather than joining her in the brushing of her teeth and bathing, Luca was simply a bystander keeping her company as she got unready.

At least he helped her dry her hair as he normally would.

Not many words were said. Each time Sophia looked at him, he seemed to be in a contemplative mood but she was appreciative he remained by her side for her sake.

When she was in her pajamas and ready to head towards the bed, she walked forward to Luca who was leaning against the counter and she wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug that surprised him.

After the initial shock wore off and he was broken from his train of thought, he hugged his omega and pressed his nose into the top of her freshly dried hair.

That was the scent he was doing all of this for.
