Don't Leave Me

Luca's unwillingness to explain the situation to Sophia made for a quiet lunch. Yet Sophia remained insistent on eating lunch together because they were all each other had at that moment.

Before returning to her work, she didn't let Luca sit down at his desk right away and she gently grabbed his shirt, pulling him closer and kissing him before he could resume his work as well. Since she didn't know what to say, her physical touch would have to be enough.

Not knowing how Luca would respond, she was surprised when he relented in letting her into his mind just a little bit. It wasn't verbally but the way he leaned into her for a moment and wrapped his arms around her told her all she needed to know.

Maybe it was their new bond making her feel sensitive but she believed she could feel his worry through his touch. It made her want to crumble and beg for him to stay home and consider whatever he was about to do again.
