Chapter 139: Unexpected Magic

When Elias saw the letter was from Miss Witch, he lost interest in chit-chatting with the neighbor.

He pocketed the letter, paid off the neighbor for the car damages, and quickly made his way home.

Of course, he didn't use his own money.

Instead, he wrote an IOU and told the neighbor to get reimbursed from Police Chief Leonardo over at the East District station.

Back home, Elias plopped down on the sofa and eagerly tore open the letter.

"Bro, what's up?" Luna noticed his anxious demeanor as soon as he walked in and curiously came closer.

Lsabella rolled her eyes, "With that nervous look, bet it's from some old flame of his."

"What? Who is it?!" Luna's expression changed instantly, turning to confront Elias.

Before she could interrogate him, she saw him staring at a blank sheet of paper, dumbfounded on the couch.

"Huh? It's blank?"Isabella was just as puzzled, wondering what the sender meant by this.
