Ho-gu's pov

It's been an whole month since jin-hun was last seen, it's been concluded that he probably fled the country, i know jin-hun well enough to know he was framed, but by who?.

Anna was obviously looking down and same with the squad, but one thing was bugging me, why was she constantly visiting the general's office, even though the general was a family friend she didn't visit him this often before, why was she visiting him more frequently now after jin-hun's incident.

Our squad is currently out of commission and is being constantly monitored with an excuse of catching jin-hun whenever he comes to us to ask for help.

Have always laughed at the thought of them thinking jin-hun will ever ask us for help, his pride won't let him, he's going to make up a dumb excuse why he shouldn't ask for help and work things out for himself, he always had.

"Wherever he is, I hope he's alright"

Back in the shadow realm

Jin's pov

An agonizing pain shot at my brain from my left leg, I turned to look at my leg while screaming in pain, some of the Hydra's venom landed on my leg.

The venom was technically acid and was melting my leg at a terrifying pace, the Hydra was about to devour me since i was no longer able to run

"...!"

Shadeva's urumi wrapped around my waist and pulled me just a second before Hydra could swallow me whole.

"Nyxara use your doll to carry him!" She ordered, her face gave no room for argument, reluctantly Nyxara activated her trait and the doll immediately carried me on it's back with ease like I was a child.

"COUNT YOUR DAYS HYDRA, WHEN I'M STRONGER YOU SHALL BE THE FIRST TO FEEL MY WRATH!!!" I screamed in pain and hatred in my mind before losing consciousness.

Shadeva's pov

This is one of the most unfortunate exploration we've ever gone, an overwhelming amount of losts right off the bat then meeting two high and a mid tier abominations back to back, and we also have a new member.

Our old teammate would have gotten through these obstacles tired but not injured.

"at least he fights close range".

We ran straight down for hours and occasionally taking a few turns but the Hydra was still on our tail,

"There is a large chamber up ahead, be alert!!" Morvain said, his voice loud but calm and was in the lead.

We entered the huge chamber, the two severed heads of the Hydra and possibly thousands of mist rats bones filled the chamber, there was a huge hole in the roof casting a little bit of light into the chamber.

"...this is...where it nests!" Nyxara said terrified, "we need to get to the roof", kaldareth said looking around.

The Hydra's loud growling made us hasten our movements.

"We going to have to climb, the wall is rigid and full of edges making it climbable, we just have to be fast" kaldareth said, his eyes wandering around the walls of the chamber.

Everyone quickly began climbing up, the Hydra soon busted into the chamber but strangely payed no attention to us.

It went for it's severed heads, moving around it as if checking it if was touched.

By the time it paid attention to us we were already half way up the chamber walls, it's neck slowly grew larger,".... It's preparing to shoot acid.... Obsidra make stairs from the wall to the roof and be quick or we are dead", Jin suddenly spoke, his voice barely audible, his face showed that he was in pain.

Obsidra nodded and almost immediately dark crystal slabs protruded from the wall three at a time.

We immediately began running up the stairs as the Hydra suddenly blasts a terrifying amount of venom at the spot we once were, instantly dissolving it.

Seeing this made our steps quicken and our minds racing.

The Hydra's venom blast didn't cease, it followed right behind us, just a second slower and we would be dissolved.

Obsidra doubled the stairs and soon enough we made it to the roof.

We quickly climbed out of the hole and gave some distance, "... don't worry it's not long enough to.... groan...to come out" , Jin said, his left leg dangling, barely held by a little skin.

Everyone's attention finally came on Jin, our faces couldn't hide the horror of what had become of his leg, "only a warrior could bear such pain" kaldareth said, his voice showed he was in awe, "am dropping him now", Nyxara's doll dropped him down slowly.

"I'm going to have to heal him"

"Will it help at this point?" Obsidra asked with genuine concern on her face.

"I will have to clean up the wound first, before I could do anything"

I dropped my bag and brought out my utensils, a bottle of liquid crystal would help ease his pain and also disinfect his wound.

While the others made camp, i started working, I applied the liquid crystal to a cloth and used it to clean of the venom, and in a few minutes I was done.

His injuries was serious, his bone was already melted.

"Sigh... This is going to take hours"

I rubbed my hands together and activated my trait and began healing.

Jin's pov

I was on the ground and barely conscious, Shadeva was talking about healing me.

The thought of not becoming an amputee gave me peace as I noticed shadeva's hands glow purple then her palms became pitch black.
