Let Us Meet

There was trouble brewing at the Romano camp, everyone knew that. Some one'd had the guts to attack the Romano don in his own club, and then they shot up his lady's car.

A clear call for an all out war, a challenge, except the challenger was choosing to remain hidden. Not coming right out and demanding their pound of flesh for whatever their grievance was.

All the other families knew this. How could they not when Romanos had coming knocking on their doors, asking outright if it was them. No one had taken responsibility and for a while all of them had been on edge.

The attacker staying silent had all of them looking at each other a bit more closely. The tension high whenever the bosses met up, so much so that even the underlings felt it. Long agreed turfs and trade routes being more closely guarded. Even messengers who normally did not carry any weapons were now packing heat.
