Li long is smiling happily but in the inside he wanted to impale that fire pest, when Li yan is being escorted at the third round participant, he noticed that there's someone that already pass the second round
When he was keeping attention of Li yan, some guy come to the stage and pointed at Li long, "You with the spear!" Li long is clueless but he noticed that guy that pointing at him that has a glaive as a weapon, the guy said to him, "Yes, you ! Come here at the stage! or are you chickening out?"
The other participant said to themselves, "Is he challenging only a 7th stage gold core, but he was a peak gold core stage, what an asshole" Li long come to the stage but before he take his stance he said to him, "What's you master name?" His opponent is clueless but he said, "I don't know his name, but i think he was from the Thousand glaive sect"
Li long is furious enough to leaked his killing aura, the opponent is skilled to the point that he can withstand Li long killing aura, but he calm it down immediately and said to the opponent ,"What's your name?" The opponent said, "My name is Yang Jun" Li long begin to take his stance with a serious expression, he said to him, "you better not to die,"
Yang jun is shocked to hear that to Li long he immediately get into his stance but it's to late, Li long use, "Hundred phoenix Stabs" Because it was a rush stabs, with amazing speed, it immediately becoming to look like a phoenix, Yang jun is defending himself by deflecting every attack but it's failed, when Li long use another technique, "Mirror image" then there's a two Li long but the other one is on the lower ground, Yang jun experience the two attacks and immediately get thrown out to the ring and his protective barrier get destroyed

Before the tournament start, the elders put a protective barrier to every participants, if the barrier get destroyed it will immediately disqualified of the participants, it can be ring out or K.O

Li long look at him with pity on his eyes, he clench his chest and said to himself, "You're being immature again, what happen in the past should be buried in the past" then the first brother of the shu clan go to the stage and said, "Oh! Are you going to run away from me?"
Li long look at him and he sees that he was a full conditioned, with a pill of strengthening, he has a sword on his hands so basically he was a swordsman, Li long finish his observing him and said, "Are you blabbering like piece of shit? or we will start fighting?"
The first brother of the shu clan was furious enough to create a killing intent, he was not talking anymore but in full of rage, and belittlement, the first brother came in rush towards to Li long, he attack Li long by a powered slash and it was a combination of fire and wind element, "Fire storm" He said, the momentum of the sword create an whirlwind pattern, when it's spinning, it will just keep going, Li long is blocking the technique and he was at on verge of the stage.
He's thinking about the method to withstand it, he remembers his spear teacher saying, "If you met an opponent stronger than you? And he attack you multiple times and you just blocking but you can't hold on anymore, What will you do?" the little Li long said, "Fight him to death!"

His spear impale his opponent but it still protected by the barrier, then he use "Mirror mirage" while his opponent in the air , he use an another technique, "Hundred phoenix stab!" the stabs is on the back and the front of his opponent, his opponent can't use any technique
He stops the bombard attack, he sees his opponent is already unconscious, with the final blow of powered strike, he create a mini vortex and throw his spear to his opponent and says, "Phoenix Vortex!" the head of the shu sect stops the vortex while the elder saves his opponent
Wang lei sees that the bastards that tricking and belittle him was the shu sect patriarch, he said to himself, "Make sense they're both trash, but do you think you can leave unscathed?" the patriarch catch it with both of his hands
Li long is tired and he already use 50% of his strength, the patriarch able to withstood it, but his hands has a hole in it, and his body is full of bruises, the patriarch pull the spear but because of rage, he threw the spear to Li long with the power of Hathor(Nascent Soul 7th stage)
When the spear almost came to Li long that not been prepared, wang lei immediately catch the spear and said," Hey! What are you up to?!" with a menacing stare towards to the patriarch, the patriarch replied, "He about to murder my son!" Wang lei replied, "Then why are you intervening? this is the battle of the youths, so why do you throw the spear to him with killing intent? i demand some answer patriarch of shu sect"
The audience is murmuring around and replied, "You! this isn't over!" while pointing at him, the whole family even the other brother leaves the tournament, while wang lei escorting Li long at the stage and give his spear, he said, "Well done!" then he immediately return to his sit, when he about to sit he immediately noticed that the headmaster of this school didn't noticed the assassins on the audience, "Very clever" he said.
He sees that the headmaster is outside searching for the assassins, but the assassins able to hide their breath and hide to the audience, wang lei use, "Appraisal" and he found out that the assassins is belong to a Black dragon sect, this sect is an evil dao, basically the murim world is been sliced to three, the first slice is the righteous, the second slice is the chaos, and the third slice is the neutral
This black dragon sect is from the chaos part, wang lei change his class to Mind magus and cast, "Mind erosion" to the one of the nearby assassins, the assassin is on agony and died within 20 seconds, he found out that this assassin is already a walking corpse, he said to himself, "Hm... So there's someone that capable to control a soul, or rather control a corpse"
He change his class to Curse Magus, and cast, "Agony" one of the user of the walking corpse is on pain, because the curse agony, is a level 8 spell, that the opponent will feel the horrifying sensation of pain but there's no bruise, but he feels the pain that his skin is being torn apart , being tortured alive, and this is not only on physical state but also on his soul state, he will feel it to the point that he wanted not to exist,

Li yan talk to him and said, "Is the opponent tough?" Li long replied to her, "I'm almost get killed by the patriarch of the shu sect, did you know that?" Li yan is worried wanted to get revenge but Li long stopped him and said, "It's a good thing that i been rescued by master lei, but i think that the shu sect will not stopped to kill me" Li yan said, "Be assured our Jiang school will protect us! No matter what!" Li long smiled and replied, "Yeah, right"
