UNCHARTED TERRITORY.

DREW.

I pulled out of the driveway, the engine humming quietly beneath me, but my mind was miles away. I told Hossein and Min that I had class now, but honestly my class doesn't start for another two hours, I just wanted to get out of there and clear my head. As I settled into my car seat, I couldn’t help but replay that awkward conversation in my head. You know, I've done a lot of uncomfortable things with them since we were kids, but I never imagined I'd been having that talk with Hossein. It felt strange—like I was crossing some line I never thought I’d cross. I kinda feel like we came off pretty strong back there, I really hope he doesn’t take it the wrong way.
