Chapter 46:- Wang tian (1)
__________________________
It was a cold night in Beijing, and Wang Tian huddled in a dark alley, shivering against the biting wind. He was just seven years old, but he had already seen more tragedy and suffering than most people see in a lifetime. His parents had died in a car accident a year ago, and he had been on his own ever since.
His family had taken all of his parents' money and left him with nothing.
He had been forced to fend for himself on the streets, begging for food and shelter.
That was how he had met Zhao Gang, the leader of a local gang. Zhao had taken pity on the ...young boy and taken him under his wing. He had given Wang food and clothes, and even taught him how to fight. Wang had grown strong and street-smart under Zhao's tutelage, and he had become a valuable member of the gang.
But recently, Wang had begun to have second thoughts about his life in the gang. Zhao was a ruthless man, and he had done many terrible things.
Wang had been forced to participate in some of those things, and he hated himself for it. He had started to think that there must be more to life than this.
But just as he was beginning to think about ...making a change, Wang's world was turned upside down. He had been feeling unwell for a few days, and Zhao had arranged for him to see a doctor.
But on the day of his appointment, Zhao's two closest lieutenants - Li Wei and Zhang Wen - had shown up instead. They had dragged Wang away from the doctor's office and taken him to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. There, they had tied him up and left him alone in the darkness.
Hours passed, and Wang began to grow increasingly frightened.
What were Li and Zhang going to do to him? And why had Zhao ...allowed this to happen? Wang had always trusted Zhao, but now he began to doubt everything he had ever known.
His thoughts were racing, and he was consumed by fear and confusion.
Just when he thought he could not bear it any longer, he heard a noise at the door. The lock turned, and the door swung open. Li and Zhang entered the room, followed by Zhao.
Wang's heart sank as he saw them, and he knew that something terrible was about to happen.
Zhao walked up to Wang, and looked him in the eyes.
"You have betrayed me," he said, his voice cold and ...calm. "You have spoken to others about my plans, and you have jeopardized my safety. For that, you must pay the ultimate price."
Wang's blood ran cold as Zhao drew a knife from his belt. He was going to kill him! Wang struggled against his bonds, but it was no use. He was completely at Zhao's mercy.
But just as Zhao raised the knife, a strange light filled the room. Wang blinked, and when he opened his eyes, he saw something that he could not believe.
A woman, dressed in white robes and glowing with a brilliant light, stood in the doorway ...Her eyes were filled with compassion, and her smile was warm and welcoming. Wang felt a sense of peace wash over him, and he knew that he was safe.
The woman spoke, her voice soft and gentle.
"You have suffered much, young one," she said.
"But your suffering is not yet over. There is still much for you to learn, and a great purpose for you to fulfill."
Wang was confused, but he could not deny the truth of the woman's words. He nodded, and she smiled again. Then, she turned to Zhao.
"Let him go," she said. "He ...is no longer yours to keep."
Zhao's face twisted in anger, and he took a step towards the woman.
"You have no right to interfere in my affairs," he snarled. "This is between me and him, and you have no place here."
But the woman stood her ground. "I have every right," she said, her voice firm.
"For I am a servant of the Divine, and my purpose is to bring light and hope to all those who suffer."
Zhao's anger turned to fear, and he stepped back. The woman's power was undeniable, and he knew that ...he was no match for it. He released Wang, and the ropes binding him fell to the ground. Wang felt his strength returning, and he stood up, facing Zhao.
The woman spoke again, her voice filled with compassion and strength.
"Zhao, you have strayed from the path of light. You have chosen darkness, and it has consumed you. But it is not too late for you to change your ways.
There is still time for you to find redemption."
Zhao's eyes filled with tears, and he sank to his knees.
"I have done terrible things," he said. "I have caused ...much suffering, and I have brought pain to many. But I am not beyond redemption. Please, help me to find my way back to the light."
The woman smiled, and she held out her hand.
"Rise, Zhao," she said. "And walk with me on the path of light. Together, we can help others to find their way, and we can bring healing and hope to a broken world."
Zhao took the woman's hand, and he stood up.
He felt a new sense of purpose, and he knew that his life would never be the same. With the woman by his side, ...he began to walk the path of light, helping others to find their way.
And one day, he would be known as the great alchemist who brought peace and healing to a world in need. But that was still a long way off. For now, he was content to take one step at a time, one day at a time, and to trust in the Divine to guide him on his journey.
For Wang, the young apprentice, this was the beginning of a new life. He had been given a second chance, and he would not waste it.
He would follow the woman's example, and use his gifts to ...help others. And one day, he too would become a great alchemist, bringing light and hope to the world. But that would come in time.
For now, he was content to learn from the woman, and to be a part of something greater than himself.
As the years passed, Wang and Zhao continued on their path of light. They helped countless people, and their reputation grew.
But the woman remained a mystery to them. She never revealed her true identity, and they never learned where she had come from.
But they knew that she was sent from the Divine, and that her purpose was to bring light into the ...darkest corners of the world.
And so, they followed her with faith and trust, and they were never disappointed.
But as the years passed, something began to change.
The woman began to age, and her face became lined with wrinkles. Her once-bright eyes began to dim, and her step grew slower and weaker. One day, she called Wang and Zhao to her side.
"My time is coming to an end," she said. He"But I will not leave you without guidance. I have chosen you, Wang, to carry on my work."
As the woman spoke, a chill ran through the air. A shadow appeared in the doorway, and a figure stepped forward.
It was a man, dressed in black robes, and his face was hidden in the shadows. He spoke, his voice low and dangerous. "I have come for you, woman. Your time has come to an end."
The woman looked at the man, and there was no fear in her eyes.
"You cannot take me," she said. "My soul belongs to the Divine, and you cannot reach it."
The man laughed, a cold and bitter sound. "We shall see about that," ...he said. He raised his hand, and a bolt of black lightning shot towards the woman. But before it could reach her, Wang stepped in front of her, and the lightning struck him instead.
Wang cried out in pain, and he fell to the ground. The woman rushed to his side, but it was too late. The man in black robes had struck a fatal blow.
"No!" the woman cried. "This cannot be!"
But it was too late. Wang took his final breath, and he was gone.
The woman looked at the man in black robes, and her eyes were filled with hate ...She raised her hand, and a brilliant light began to radiate from her body. It was so bright that the man in black robes had to shield his eyes.
The woman spoke, her voice filled with power. "You have taken a life that was not yours to take. You will be punished for your crime."
The man in black robes laughed again, but this time there was fear in his voice. "You have no power over me," he said. "You are old and weak. You cannot stop me."
But the woman's eyes blazed with a fire that could not be quenched. "I ...am not alone," she said. "I am one with the Divine, and I have power that you cannot imagine."
As she spoke, a great wind began to blow through the room. It blew the man in black robes back, and he fell to the ground.
The wind continued to blow, and the woman's voice grew louder. "You have brought darkness to this world," she said. "Now, you will face the light."
The man in black robes screamed as the light enveloped him. He was consumed by it, and when it faded, he was gone. The woman looked at the place where he...
