Kelsey Visits Brianna

AT THE HOSPITAL

Door opens.

"Hello, Good Afternoon" the doctor greats as he shuts the door behind him.

"Morning" Brianna said standing up from the chair.

He turns to Mrs. Dorothy

"You'll be having your checkup this afternoon, if your system is working fine then you'll be dismissed, so please get prepared for it."

"That's good news, thanks a lot." Mrs. Dorothy replied.

He took his turn and left the hospital room.

"Wow, that's good let's just hope that everything will be fine with your system." Brianna said to her mum.

(Brianna's phone rings)

"It's Charlotte" she said as she picks up the phone and turns to her mum.

"Hello"

"Hi, I forgot to call you back this morning."

"No worries my mum just wanted to thank you, let me give her the phone."

Brianna gives the phone to her mum.

"Hello"

"Helloo, Auntie how are you doing."

"I'm fine thanks to you I'll be having my check up today, I just want to say thank you for everything and that I'm very, very grateful."

''No problem''

''Okay, am giving it to Brianna.''

''Sure''

''Did you reach work early'' Brianna asked.

''Noo, but at least I got there before my boss arrived.''

''That's good to hear.''

''I wanna ask you a question.''

''Okay, go ahead.''

''Do you think I'm lovesick?'' She asked.

''Naa, why will you ask that.''

''Can you imagine my colleague thought that; so, she arranged a date for me.''

''Oh my gosh, seriously'' Brianna bellowed.

''Yeah, you know who I was expecting?''

''Your hero, I guess'' Brianna suggested.

''Yeah, how did you know that.''

''It was a guess.''

''Oh okay''

"Any way I'm going to get food for my mum, so I'll call you later.

"Okay bye"

(she hangs up the call) She remembers the guy see saw at her blind date and decides to call him since they exchanged contacts.

 Unfortunately, he didn't answer so she picked up her handbag and goes to a nearby ATM and transfers money to her mum's bank account.

She texts her to make sure she has received a message and go to a nearby stall to buy some juice from a nearby stall and headed home.

RAYMOND'S HOUSE

''Dad'' She calls out his name from behind.

''Yes, my darling''

''Are you going to work?''

''Yes, any problem''

''Can I follow you? I want to meet Brianna.''

''Oh Brianna, she will not be at the club tonight.''

''Do you know where she will be.''

''She is at the hospital with her mum. I will send you the address.''

''Thanks dad''

''Make sure you are back home early.''

''Okay, I have received it.''

 AT THE HOSIPITAL

''Hi, am looking for Mrs. Dorothy'' Kelsey asked.

''She is on the twelfth-floor room 15.''

''Thanks''

Brianna was going out to buy food for her mum and saw Kelsey entering an Elevator from afar.

''Kelsy'' she shouts from behind.''

She turns back to see who called out her name. To her surprise it was Brianna.

''Brianna'' she said as she runed towards her and hugged her.

''I have missed you'' Kelsey said.

''Aww, it has been a while.''

''Yeah, hope you are fine.''

''I am good. And you?''

''I am so weary. I spent all my day packing my stuff and having fun with my new dog.''

''Wow, you now have a dog?''

''Yeah, it was a welcome gift from my dad.''

''That is nice. I would like to see it someday.''

''Sure, you're welcome. But what are you doing in the hospital, are you sick?''

''Oh noo, it is my mum that is sick, she about to be examine by the doctor.''

"Oh, so sorry.''

''No worries''

''So where are you heading to.''

''To buy pasta for my mum.''

''Oh okay, let me follow you then.''

They both walked out to off the entrance and trekked to the nearest food vender's shop.

''Good afternoon'' Brianna greeted.

''Afternoon, how may I help you.''

''I'll buy 3 bowls of pasta.''

''Okay. Please will you want it served here or packed.''

''Two served and one packed.''

They sat behind the table and waited patiently for their food whiles chatting.

''Do you remember those old times when we use to play in the rain during the rainy days?''

''Yeah, it was a lot of fun. And, when my mum used to blow bubbles through the wand for us to chase and burst them'' Brianna said.

''Yeah. that was very entertaining.''

"I loved every moment of my childhood.''

''Me too, wish I could be a child again.''

 The server brought the three bowls of pasta with one packaged.

''Thanks sir'' Brianna said.

They delved in whilst they were still chatting.
