Tang Shi Yi had a date with Ye Heng the next day and took the box of cake with her.

She pushed the box of cake across the table and saw the puzzled look on Ye Heng's face.

Ye Heng could see that there was a box of cake in front of him. However, he could not understand what was going on.

"This is for you," Tang Shi Yi said. She tried to observe Ye Heng's expression to see how he was going to react. It was the first time that she had tried to bake for someone and Tang Shi Yi was worried.

"A cake?" Ye Heng peeked into the small window on top of the box and saw that pretty cake decorated with cream and strawberries. "Why are you giving me a cake? Is there a special occasion?"

"I thought of giving you a gift for helping me a lot these days," Tang Shi Yi said. "You won't let me treat you to a meal and I'm not sure what you like. Therefore, I decided to bake you a cake."
