He held his wheel steady, feigning ignorance. He nonchalantly tapped the screen of his music player and started bopping his head to the beat.

"I asked you a question!" She shrieked.

He decreased the volume of the music and turned towards her, "No, all you did was snore," he chuckled.

"I don't snore, seriously?"

"I know," he tried to divert her attention to something, but his attempt were in vain.

"Good, I don't snore." She rubbed her eyes and gently caressed her stomach, then yawned. She displayed no shyness in his presence. "So, where are you taking me?"

"To your house."

"Where did you pick me up from?"

"Do you have a short memory?" he replied curtly, increasing the speed. "How are you going to work for me?"

She halted her eye-rubbing, sat up straight, and leaned in. "What did you just say? I don't work for you."

"Funny enough, I purchased you from Jerry."
