Meeting Fushiguro Megumi

"Well then, I'll be going."

After putting away the groceries, Eiji intended to leave immediately, but Tsumiki held the edge of his clothes and said, "Don't rush, Kamiki-kun. At least let me prepare a drink as a thank you for helping me."

"Alright."

Pausing for a moment, Eiji didn't refuse.

"What would you like to drink, Kamiki-kun? Barley tea or coffee?"

"Just barley tea."

"Okay, you sit on the sofa."

"Um."

Watching Tsumiki prepare the drink in the kitchen, Eiji headed to the living room and sat down.

(This is the first time I've visited someone else's home)

He looked around and found a photo on a table not far from him. At a glance, he immediately recognized the people in the photo, Fushiguro Megumi and Fushiguro Tsumiki.

(If I remember correctly, Megumi doesn't remember what his father looks like. Even during the Shibuya Incident, he didn't recognize Toji)

He looked at some other photos but didn't find a single picture of Toji.

About 10 minutes later, Tsumiki came with two glasses of barley tea and cookies.

"Please enjoy."

"Thank you."

After that, Eiji drank barley tea while enjoying the served snacks. It happened that he liked sweet foods.

Tsumiki sat in front of him, feeling awkward because of the silent situation. She didn't know what to talk about, especially since they had just met.

The more she observed him, the more she was captivated by his handsomeness. This was the first time Tsumiki had seen a handsome guy on par with Gojo Satoru.

"What's wrong?"

Feeling a sharp gaze on him, Eiji looked at her and asked.

"Ah, nothing. It's just that Kamiki-kun looks so much like Gojo-san. Compared to being cousins, you two seem more like older and younger brothers."

Turning her face away, Tsumiki fanned her reddened face with her hand.

"I see." Eiji nodded.

This wasn't the first time he had heard that. Previously, Suguru and Shoko had also said the same thing. Suguru even jokingly said Eiji was Satoru's child.

"By the way, Kamiki-kun, aren't you going to school today?" Tsumiki asked, noticing that he wasn't wearing a school uniform like her.

"I've never been to school. A tutor comes to my house to teach me." Eiji answered calmly.

"Hmmm... Turns out there are still people who study without going to school. Usually, only young masters and misses from wealthy families do that."

Despite being a bit surprised, Tsumiki found it understandable considering Satoru's financial ability to support herself and her younger brother.

"Even so, it's a pity that Kamiki-kun doesn't go to school. There are many interesting things in school that you won't get from a tutor at home." Tsumiki said with a smile.

"Maybe." Eiji didn't deny it, then added, "But I will start high school in April."

He missed the life of an ordinary student. Even after he became a high school student in April, it wouldn't be a regular school life he desired.

"That's good. I hope Eiji-kun enjoys being a high school student." Tsumiki blessed. She herself was still a third-year junior high school student.

"Nee-san, I'm home."

The sound of the door opening, and a male voice entered the house.

"Welcome home, Megumi."

Knowing her younger brother had returned, Tsumiki relaxed a bit. Honestly, she felt a bit nervous being alone with Eiji.

"Is Gojo Sensei here... Who's he?"

Megumi came into the living room, saw an unfamiliar man, frowned, and asked suspiciously.

Previously, seeing the shoes in front, he thought Satoru had come to visit.

"Megumi, what's with that frowning expression, you're rude. He's Gojo-san's cousin."

Seeing her younger brother's attitude, Tsumiki stood up and pulled him to sit next to her.

"Gojo-san's cousin?"

Hearing that, Megumi vaguely remembered Satoru mentioning having a genius cousin.

"Your name... Kamiki Eiji?"

"Um."

Eiji nodded, saving him from a boring introduction session.

"Horrraaaa... Add -san. Kamiki-kun will be a high school student." Tsumiki reminded.

"So, why is Kamiki-san at our house?"

Not wanting to argue with his older sister, Megumi complied and asked.

"Ah, that's how it is."

Then, Tsumiki recounted her encounter with Eiji.

"So that's it. Thanks for helping Nee-san."

After understanding everything, Megumi sincerely thanked him.

"You're welcome." Eiji said lightly.

While sipping barley tea, he calmly watched the interaction between the older sister and younger brother.

Tsumiki realized that Eiji didn't like to chat much, so she chatted with Megumi.

"Oh, right. Tomorrow I'll be coming home later than usual. If Megumi is hungry, you can eat out or order online."

"What about Nee-san?"

"My friends invited me to do bungee jumping at Yasohachi Bridge."

"Yasohachi Bridge? Isn't that a place famous for suicide cases and a famous paranormal activity center? Big sis, you shouldn't go to horror places like that."

"Is Megumi worried about me? How sweet~. Don't worry, it's all just legends made to attract visitors; nothing will happen."

Hearing the location his sister was going to visit, Megumi tried to persuade her to cancel her plans.

He could see Cursed Spirits, creatures that ordinary people couldn't see! Megumi knew this world wasn't as simple as it seemed on the surface.

"Well then, I'll be going."

Finishing the barley tea, Eiji bid farewell to both of them.

"Thank you for your help, Kamiki-kun."

Tsumiki said with a smile, escorting him to the front door.

"Goodbye."

After putting on his shoes, Eiji said goodbye and left.

"Bye-bye." Tsumiki waved her hand.

Leaving the Fushiguro Family's house, Eiji remembered their previous conversation.

"Yasohachi Bridge, huh... That's none of my business."

With Lin Fan's memory as the information base, Eiji knew Tsumiki's trip to Yasohachi Bridge would be a tragedy.

Tsumiki would be cursed and fall into a coma, along with other victims across the country.

"The fate of all members of the Fushiguro Family is truly unfortunate. Tsumiki will fall into a coma, and her body will be taken by a Cursed Witch named Yorozu. Megumi will be targeted by Sukuna since their first meeting, and eventually, his body will be possessed. Toji can't rest in peace after his death and will be used as a tool by unaffiliated Cursed Sorcerer."

Looking up at the twilight sky, Eiji whispered softly, "This world is full of tragedies. Without enough strength, human lives have no meaning and can be taken away by the powerful at any time."

"If I don't want to be part of the tragedy, I have to become stronger to eliminate those who bring trouble to me."

Even though he is a Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer, Eiji feels it's not enough.

In the plot, out of the four Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerers, only one is still alive.

"It seems exploring other worlds for greater strength is unavoidable."

As his power growth has stagnated, and this world cannot help him progress further, Eiji intends to venture into other worlds to become stronger.

"Let's get ready."

After making the decision, he goes to a convenience store and buys supplies.
