“Sigh…Let’s cool down with a shower.”
He stood up and started toward his bedroom, but before he could take even a step, his path was blocked by someone first.
“Mr. Wolf?”
Joke raised a brow. In front of him was a white-haired man in an untucked shirt who seemed to be relaxing right now.
“How long have you been standing here? You scared me.”
“I was waiting for you to finish the call with your girlfriend…That sweetness was nearly unbearable.”
He joked, causing his friend to grimace in response.
“Eavesdropping is a bad habit, you know?”
“Yeah. Sorry, I guess.” He let out a long sigh. “I just have something to talk to you about.”
Not only his tone, but his expression also indicated an unusual degree of seriousness. It seemed that he was now going to finally pour his heart out to Joke.
And as someone who was adept at reading the room, the bespectacled man sighed.
“Let me guess. It’s very important, right?”
Wolf nodded, and Joke scratched his head.
