Master Deck Part I

“Good morning, Captain. How was your New Year?”

The polite greeting came from one of the White Dragon team’s staff members, a woman named “Much,” if Joke remembered correctly. She worked in the team’s public relations department, greeting visitors at the front office. Joke responded with a polite smile.

“It was good. I got plenty of rest,” he replied before raising both arms to show the large bags he was carrying.

“I brought a lot of snacks from Suphanburi for everyone. Could you please help distribute them to the team?”

“Wow! Thank you, Captain! Every time you go home, you bring back snacks for us. Everyone’s crazy about those Suphanburi sweets now. Are you trying to fatten us all up?”

Her cheerful response was followed by her eagerly taking the heavy bags with a bright smile. Joke didn’t say much more, instead peering into the office. It seemed like most of the staff had returned to work, as evidenced by the parking lot filled to capacity.

“Have they arrived yet?” he asked.
