“There’s another one!?”

The girls exclaimed in unison, suddenly reminded of the SC-level quest they’d agreed to take on with Dia from the start—a quest that likely involved yet another boss.

“Let’s give everyone a week to rest before tackling that,” Joke suggested with a reassuring smile, glancing at the girls, who all looked dismayed.

They could tell that no matter what, this captain wasn’t going to let them off the hook!

“Alright, let’s wrap it up then,” Ace said.

“Got it. I’ll let you know if there’s any progress,” Joke replied.

Ace and Dia nodded, logging off shortly after. Despite their calm demeanor, Joke knew they were as exhausted as anyone—probably even more so, given their roles on the front line.

Not long after, the rest of the team began logging off, relieved to finally unplug after a grueling marathon session. Eventually, it was just Joke and Dani left standing.

“Well, that’s one job done,” Dani said, exhaling deeply.
