There was no time for hesitation.

"Whoa, dude! That look on your face is giving me bad vibes," Dani exclaimed, pointing at him suddenly.

"Huh? What look?" Joke asked, puzzled.

"That look," Dani said, narrowing his eyes. "Every time you smile like that, something crazy happens."

"Am I really smiling like that?" Joke asked, genuinely confused, turning to Lia for confirmation.

"Yes, it’s the kind of smile that says you’re itching to cause some chaos."

Joke blinked, surprised, while Dani sighed deeply, exasperated.

"Please, man," Dani groaned. "Didn’t the coach specifically warn you not to pull out any insane combos right at the start? This is just your first minor tournament! Do you really want the world to figure out your strategies this early?"

"Don’t worry," Joke reassured him. "I’ll only use combos that aren’t too critical. Trust me."
