Chapter 2: The Magical Dog Food

Dog Food Points?

Ye Tian paused, vaguely recalling the strange Super Dog Food System he seemed to have bound to himself while drunk the previous night.

Could it be...

To Ye Tian, an avid novel reader, the concept of a system was all too familiar. Easy to operate, big rewards, no need for much thinking, and those with a system were said to rule the world.

This was his chance to rise!

Ye Tian eagerly called out to the system in his mind and, as expected, a large virtual screen appeared before him, shimmering with light.

Super Dog Food System

Host: Ye Tian

Dog Food Points: 10 (Earn points by spreading dog food.)

Lottery: Use dog food points for the lottery, from basic to top-level, with the cost increasing a hundredfold for each draw. (From all worlds and realms, nothing is unattainable!)

System Shop: All items drawn are available for purchase in the shop.

It was so simple, yet so incredible!

Ye Tian, looking at the information on the screen, was overwhelmed with excitement.

Not only did he have a powerful lottery system, but also a shop to purchase items he had previously drawn. This meant he didn't have to worry about using a good item only once. And there seemed to be no limitations whatsoever!

No need to laboriously complete tasks, no fear of terrifying punishments like erasure, just show off love and spread dog food to draw items from all worlds and realms.

"I want to draw a lottery!" Ye Tian roared in his mind.

"The lottery begins, basic draw costs 10 dog food points." The system's voice echoed in his ear, and the screen transformed into a large spinning wheel divided into ten sections, each containing an item.

1. One million in cash

2. Cancer treatment potion

3. Hua Tuo's medical skills

4. Hundred-year-old ginseng, ten stalks

5. Basic gene optimization potion

6. Unawakened fire ability

7. Special forces skill - Combat

8. Beretta 92F pistol

9. Blank

10. Basic internal strength

"Cancer treatment potion!" Ye Tian's eyes fixed on the second section, watching intently before murmuring to himself with a faint smile:

"The chances are one in ten, too low. But with the system, getting it would be great; not getting it isn't a big deal. My sister's illness will be cured sooner or later."

As he thought this, Ye Tian couldn't help but feel a bit of hope. He reached out and lightly touched the virtual pointer, setting it in motion.

The pointer on the wheel began to spin rapidly, then gradually slowed down until it was moving at a snail's pace.

Ye Tian watched nervously, disappointment creeping in as the pointer easily passed the first two sections.

However, he quickly recovered. With the system, his sister's cure was just a matter of time. Of all the options, besides the cancer treatment potion, Ye Tian was most excited about the basic internal strength. After all, which man doesn't have a dream of martial arts?

The pointer moved slowly. Ye Tian was torn between hope for the basic internal strength and fear that the pointer might stop on the blank spot. Even the pistol wouldn't be of any use to him.

Finally, the pointer didn't stop at basic internal strength as Ye Tian had hoped, but luckily, it didn't land on the first two options either. Instead, it stopped on the special forces combat skill.

"Congratulations, Host, on acquiring the Special Forces Skill - Combat. Shop price: 500. Skill transmission in progress!"

A surge of information suddenly flooded Ye Tian's mind, quickly absorbed by his thoughts.

In an instant, Ye Tian's mind was filled with countless pieces of knowledge, as if he had undergone decades of training, making him incredibly familiar with it.

"I'm a special forces soldier now?"

With the sudden influx of knowledge and skills in his mind, Ye Tian felt an overwhelming sense of unreality. Although his physical strength hadn't increased, and he wasn't as versatile as a real special forces soldier, the combat knowledge in his mind was undeniable. His control over his body had improved exponentially, and in terms of fighting skills alone, he would be no less than any special forces soldier.

This was madness; the special forces soldiers trained for years, while Ye Tian had simply won a lottery in a moment.

Creak!

Just then, two doors opened simultaneously. Behind Ye Tian, Su Mei, now dressed, walked out, her eyebrows furrowed and her walk awkward. In front of him, two thugs with dyed yellow hair came out, pausing in surprise upon seeing Ye Tian and Su Mei.

Su Mei was about to question Ye Tian when the thugs spoke first:

"So it's you, kid! Lucky us, we found the guy who spoiled our fun last night. We had our sights set on her, and you took our prize.

 You'll pay for this!"

"What's going on?" Su Mei, initially ready to confront Ye Tian, paused at the thugs' words, recalling his explanation from before.

"I told you I wasn't lying. They were the ones trying to take advantage of you while you were drunk. I intended to leave you at the hotel and go, but you grabbed me. And I was too drunk to remember what happened next!" Ye Tian quickly explained, grateful for the thugs' timely arrival.

"Don't play innocent now. She looks like a virgin! We had to settle for watching videos last night because of you. Hey, girl, after I'm done teaching this kid a lesson, we can have some fun." One thug said, raising his fist to punch Ye Tian.

Ye Tian's newly acquired special forces combat skills kicked in instinctively. He dodged the punch, elbowing the thug in the ribs.

Bang!

The thug screamed, clutching his side and crouching down in pain. The other thug pulled out a fruit knife and stabbed at Ye Tian's abdomen.

Ye Tian grabbed the thug's wrist, sidestepped, and delivered a knee strike to his abdomen.

In the blink of an eye, both thugs were on the ground, clutching their stomachs. With his new special forces knowledge, Ye Tian knew precisely where to strike. Although he hadn't caused serious injury, the pain was enough to silence them.

"Although I had good intentions, things ended up like this. You decide how to handle it. Whether you want to call the police or seek compensation, I'll accept it." Ye Tian said to Su Mei, now free from worries about his sister's illness.

"I have only one request!" Su Mei, now remembering fragments of the previous night, including using Ye Tian as a pillow, blushed and said through gritted teeth: "Let's pretend last night never happened. We don't know each other and never cross paths again..."

She was interrupted by her phone ringing in her pocket. Casting a fierce glance at Ye Tian, she answered the call.
