Chapter 4: I'm Here to Get a Marriage Certificate with Su Mei
The hotel bell rang incessantly. When Ye Tian woke up, the sun was already high in the sky. Seeing the clock showing it was nine o'clock, he hurriedly got out of bed and left the hotel without even washing up, rushing towards the Yangcheng Business Building in a taxi.
He had promised to go with Su Mei to get their marriage certificate today. For Ye Tian, this was not just about the job and the hundred thousand reward. Being with a girl like Su Mei meant even just walking down the street doing nothing counted as spreading dog food!

"I... I'm here to see Su Mei!" Ye Tian replied, trying to sound confident despite his nerves.

The receptionist rolled her eyes. Many came looking for the CEO, but none dressed like this.

She quickly categorized Ye Tian as a delusional young man, growing impatient:
"The CEO is out on a business trip. Remember to make an appointment next time."
"I have an appointment!" Ye Tian said in a panic, seeing that the receptionist didn't believe him. "I'm here to get a marriage certificate with Su Mei! My name is Ye Tian!"

The receptionist almost laughed out loud at this. If Ye Tian hadn't said that, she might have checked the records. But with such a claim, she dismissed him as a foolish young man, sneering:
"Wishing for the moon has its limits. Look at yourself. Make any more trouble, and I'll call security!"

Ye Tian clenched his fists but ultimately decided not to stoop to the receptionist's level. He coldly stated:

The security guard, Zhao Jiahong, walked over, scowling at Ye Tian's cheap attire. Hearing the receptionist's words, he became furious:
"Young man, causing trouble is not allowed here. This is not a place for poor people like you! Still claiming to be the CEO's fiancé? I'm the world's richest man's father then! Get out, or I won't be nice!"
Startled by the security guard's scolding, Ye Tian frowned. Already annoyed by the receptionist, and now with the security captain's disdainful attitude, he lost his patience, saying irritably:
"If you won't inform her, I'll go up and find Su Mei myself!"
