Chapter 174: Start of the Expo

[3rd POV - Lena Luthor]

Lena Luthor was intrigued. She had been invited to the Expo for Talia's new company, known as "Morningstar Industries" a recently developed company that Talia had been quite excited about, hyping it up extensively over the past month, giving her and many other influential people an invitation.

Most of the people invited weren't interested, until they heard that the one inviting them was the other owner of Catco, owning around 50% of the company. And once news that Lena was going to the Expo was spread, that caught the eye of a lot of companies, as Lena never went to events like this, unless it was worth it.

Kara had told Lena that there was going to be limited media groups there, only allowing CatCo reporters, the Daily Planet Reporters, and a few reporters from some other news groups, such as Fox and CNN. The Expo had been advertised as the "Expo of the Future" and would include various technologies that Talia had personally created, something that caught the eye of scientists and engineers around the world.

The fact that Talia had also invited various social media influencers, such as Youtubers that dealt with technology, was another thing that cemented the interest in the Expo. The woman was very confident that her expo would be huge, so ena just hoped that confidence was valid.

Sitting in her SUV as her driver took her to the expo, which was being held in a large building that Talia had bought herself, Lena couldn't help but grow a little excited as they pulled into the premises, as she noticed various people waiting out front.

"Ma'am, it looks like the doors aren't open yet, do you want to wait here?" The driver asked, as Lena hummed before shaking her head.

"No I'll be fine, thank you though, Bernard" Lena said with a smile, as she got out of the SUV, her bodyguards following after her. And it seemed that her timing was perfect, as the doors slowly began to creep open, and a voice spoke out on the intercom.

"The Morningstar Industries Expo has now begun! Please refer to your pamphlets for directions to certain inventions, and the time stamps for the main event! I truly do hope you enjoy gazing upon the future!" The voice boomed as the crowd blinked, before they began to walk through the entrance.

Walking through the halls alongside the crowd, Lena ignored the people looking at her, as they entered the main expo hall, and went wide eyed at what they saw.

There was booth after booth with all sorts of technology, all created by Morningstar Industries. Lena noticed one for phones, laptops, tv's, tablets, headphones, video cameras, microphones, watches, and more. She noticed the tech influencers all surge towards the phone area, as she decided to follow after them.

In a small glass container were 2 phones, one a smaller black one with the symbol of a sun on the back, while the other was larger and had that same symbol.

"The Stellar Phone" Lena muttered as she read tha name of the phone, before stopping as a kind looking woman walked to the front of the booth, holding one of the phones.

"Hello, hello! I'm glad you're all here! I'm sure you are all interested in this little guy, known as the "Stellar Phone" , a creation of the Owner of Morningstar Industries! Created through advanced technological means created specially by Miss Morningstar herself, these phones are the best of the best!"

"Thin, lightweight, waterproof, practically indestructible, and with specs beyond any of our competitors! These little phones start out with 1 terabyte of storage, the best cameras and video recording software we know of, and other pieces of technology completely unique to these phones. One of those being the "Translator" technology, that will allow the user to translate any and all languages they run into, in real time and with 100% perfect accuracy!" The woman said with a grin, as she spoke what seemed to be Mandarin, and the phone did exactly that, before she did another, and another, and another.

The phone enthusiasts were practically drooling as the woman continued to speak on the phone, while Lena just grew more and more impressed with Talia. The phone alone was far beyond anything on the market, and would make Talia billions. That wasn't even including the laptops, tv's, and everything else that was catching the eye of others.

Lena smiled as she decided to walk around the rest of the Expo, excited to see what else Talia was going to introduce to the world.

[3rd POV - Talia Morningstar]

Talia sat back, pleased as she watched the Expo. The reviewers were already going crazy over the new phones, as they got hands on testing with them, and like she thought, they were shocked by the difference between them and the competitors. Her phones were several times better than anything on the market, and had technology that wasn't even invented yet, advanced face I.D which wasn't a thing in this reality yet when it came to phones. The translation app was the one that caught all their eyes, as they tested various languages with it and found that it did in fact work perfectly from what they gathered.

The tv's, tablets, and laptops were also getting a lot of attention for their prices and their innovations in various areas. The microphones, headphones, and such were also getting attention, but not as much as testing them was a bit harder with how loud it was.

She had her familiars keeping an eye out for any problems, but so far there hadn't been any. Her medicines, the cradle, and the big stuff wouldn't be shown off until the main event, which is also where she would reveal that she has found the cure for certain diseases.

"Looks like Lena is enjoying herself" Talia thought amusedly as Lena was using a tablet with sparkles in her eyes, interest filling her. She probably used a tablet extensively, and now that she saw this one, she saw a new upgrade to make, and with how inexpensive it was, it was an easy buy, especially with the upgrades she can pay for, such as more storage.

Talia estimated that her website would be "Sold out" within hours of pre-orders being open, which would be open once the main event was over. As many of the social media influencers from Twitch were all streaming the event and showing off the tech, meaning she was getting tons of interest from people around the world as tens of thousands were watching.

She could already see people talking about buying bulk for their offices or for testing, something that made Talia happy, knowing that she would both make money, and her company would get traction from this. With that traction, she could do some real good, and begin to sell more and more products that could improve the lives of people around the world.

Talia just hoped that they would react well to the main event, and the things she'll reveal there, as those are the most important things her company will be selling, not in terms of money making possibilities, but in terms of importance to the greater world, and the effects it can have on it.

Leaning back in her chair, Talia glanced at the time before smiling, as she spoke quietly.

"Seems it's time to prepare for the main event...let's hope it goes well"
