Chapter 225: Healed Mutants

After the battle with the Destroyer, Shield came by and did their stuff, helping the town during its reconstruction process; of course, I helped as well, though only the next day after I had fixed my suit back at the Fortress of Solitude. During that time, Shield disbanded their temporary base, and instead of simply returning Mrs. Foster's equipment and research, they hired her and had her work for them; she seemed a bit annoyed at their offer, but it must've been too good to refuse as she accepted.

They also ended up hiring Dr. Selvig, which I thought was a smart move. Although I wasn't exactly knowledgeable about his specific field of expertise, he was a very well-known scientist, and I've read his work, as outer space interests me.

As for Thor, Sif, and the Warriors Three, ever since they returned to Asgard, we've gotten no word back from them, which worried me, but seeing how there were no armies from Asgard marching into Earth, I figured everything was handled correctly.

"I didn't have time to think about it then, but Sif is a fucking baddie! Haa, too bad I'm already in a relationship… Sort of… Kind of… Eh, I don't know." Remarked Tut lightly with a faint smirk as he lay atop a commercial plane while staring into the sky, only to shake his head with a sigh.

Making a mental note to bring a camera with me whenever I visited Asgard, I sat upright and stretched before glancing at the little girl and her mother staring at me through the window. Smirking, I gave her a peace sign before leaping off the plane's wing, free-falling through the sky for several minutes before crash-landing into the middle of a hedge maze, startling a pair of lovers kissing.

"Yo, aren't you two too young to get touchy like that?" Asked Tut lightly with a skeptical gaze as he exited the small crater while eyeing the two young teenagers who were both fondling their private areas.

"Yes… Yes, they are Pharaoh." Said Storm firmly as she descended out of the sky while eyeing the two teenagers, prompting them to quickly retract their hands.

Watching Storm chase those two horny teenagers away, I chuckled in amusement before outstretching my hand toward her, causing her to grab it as she helped me out of the crater.

"Ho, someone feels skinner than I remember." Muttered Tut with a faint smirk as he pulled Storm into his embrace while firmly grasping her lithe waist, causing her to faintly frown.

Before I could continue with my teasing, a lightning bolt suddenly struck me, prompting me to release Storm while she gave me a look of mild annoyance.

"I also don't remember you ever being able to casually summon such a powerful lightning bolt… Has Apocalypse influence not fully left?" Added Tut with furrowed brows as he waved his hand, blowing the smoke away while glancing at Storm, who scowled before turning around and walking away.

Rolling my eyes at her behavior, I quickly chased after her, appearing in front of her as I walked backward.

"I was being serious about my earlier remark, Storm… You're not eating correctly, are you?" Asked Tut firmly as he looked at Storm, who averted her gaze with a scoff.

"Why bother asking a question you already know the answer to? You can hear everything, can't you? You should've been able to hear me." Remarked Storm blandly as she grabbed her hips and eyed Tut with a raised eyebrow, causing him to faintly nod.

"I had wanted you to tell me. I wouldn't bring up someone's private conversation unless they mentioned it to me, and the same goes for everything else they considered private." Stated Tut lightly as he looked at Storm, who clicked her tongue and walked past him while he followed.

"I'm fine, just don't mention that person's name, alright?" Asked Storm firmly as she continued walking, yet Tut remained silent, not bothering to respond, causing her to suddenly stop

"Pharaoh… I-I can remember everything, okay… He forced me to kill so many people… I-I even attacked the very place I promised to protect. You're not the only one worried about my well-being, but this isn't something you can help with. You can't just tell me everything will be okay; that's not how it works." Stated Storm sternly as she clenched her fists while staring at the ground, reliving the atrocities she was forced to commit.

"I-I have to live with everything I did while under Apocalypse control. That's not something I can get over in a month or two, okay? So please, just let me handle this myself." Added Storm weakly as she turned and glanced at Tut, who hummed to himself before eventually nodding.

"Hmm, okay, I will leave you to it. Just know, if you're skinner the next time I visit, I'll force-feed you." Said Tut with a nod as he glanced at Storm, who sighed in relief, only for her to look blankly at him.

"Anyway, you're not the only person I came to see, so see ya, love." Added Tut with a smirk as he leaned down and kissed Storm's hand before swiftly vanishing, followed by a gust of wind that blew her long white hair, causing her to sigh.

As I left the hedge maze, I entered the renovated X-Mansion, and as I passed by multiple classrooms, I stealthily entered the one where Mr. McCoy was teaching a group of students about biology. Standing behind Mr. McCoy while he pointed at the chalkboard, I imitated his every action, causing the students to chuckle.

"Hmm, what is so funny?" Asked McCoy with a slight frown as he straightened his glasses before turning around, yet Tut went with him, causing him to find nothing.

I continued imitating his actions for the next minute before grabbing a chalk and drawing a picture of him with his pants down, and I made sure to go into detail. Setting the chalk down, I swiftly exited the classroom, only for it to erupt into laughter while McCoy got rather pissed.

"W-What the!? By T-Tut? Pharaoh!" Exclaimed McCoy in anger and confusion as he looked at the drawing before glancing at the signature, causing him to clench his fist.

By the time he left the classroom, I was already antagonizing another teacher, and this one was far more aggressive.

"Who threw that paper ball?" Asked Logan with a huff as he glared at the twenty or so students, who all looked at each other in confusion, causing him to grunt.

Just as Mr. Howlet turned around, I threw two paper balls simultaneously at him from different sides of the room, causing a singular claw to emerge from his left hand.

"Alright, who was it? Confess now, and I'll only give you detention." Stated Logan with a growl as he scanned the students, yet just like before, everyone gazed at each other in confusion, causing him to grin wickedly.

"Oh, so that's how it's going to be. Fine by me. Just know when I get my hands on you, you'll beg me for detention." Said Logan with a snarl as he glared at the students, only for a paper ball to hit the back of his head, causing him to swing his arm behind him, slashing right through the chalkboard with ease.

With Mr. Howlet turned around, I threw exactly twenty-three paper balls at him, the same number of students he was teaching, before stealthily leaving through a window, barely able to contain my laughter.

"Hahaha, what a fucking fool!" Yelled Tut loudly as he roared with laughter while floating through the sky.

Mr. Howlet would eventually figure out it was mere; after all, my scent was on those paper balls, but until he did, I would enjoy watching him crash out.

However, while floating through the sky, I saw Professor X sitting on the balcony, giving me a disapproving look before sighing, causing me to chuckle as I swiftly neared him.

"Okay, okay, I know, not the smartest stuff I've done, but c'mon, it was pretty funny." Said Tut with an amused expression as he leaned against the balcony railing while glancing at Charles who softly shook his head, causing him to roll his eyes.

"If I may ask, where is Jean? She has been missing for quite some time, and I heard you had something to do with it." Asked Charles lightly as he turned around, entering his office while Tut followed.

"Do you want the long version or the short version?" "I've learned it has something to do with relationship drama, so please, spare this old man things he's already experienced." Remarked Tut and Charles, respectively, as the former sat down while glancing at the latter, who leaned on his desk and shook his head.

"Well, essentially, Jean and sister had a serious fight, and until they made up, I put them on house arrest." Replied Tut lightly with a groan as he looked at Charles, who raised an eyebrow before nodding.

"Do you have an estimate as to when they will return?" "No, not really; they've made some progress, but now they're only speaking through their mind, so I've got no idea what they're talking about. That's probably why they're doing that anyway." Remarked Charles and Tut, respectively, as the former curiously looked at the latter, who shrugged his shoulders before shaking his head in uncertainty.
