Epilogue

Four years later our sons were learning how to fight. Jonathan is four and Kenako is three. I was leaning against the wall watching my husband teach them with amusement. Hydra was sitting on my shoulder. "Do you think they'll ever get it?" She asked as Jonathan tackled Kenako and Kenako hit the ground.

"Oh, they will eventually," I reassured her. "Lloyd and I just believe it's better for them to learn now so they know how to fight in case they're bullied or something in school. Or we get more enemies."

"Is Loro still in jail?"

"Mm-hmm. He can't do magic so he can't get himself out of there. The commissioner told me he hasn't been doing anything but staring at a wall."

"So he could be planning something," she stated like I was being stupid.

I sighed. "It's possible and he's been doing that for the last four years. If he hasn't got a plan, he might not be creating one at all."

Kenako ran over. "Mommy, did you see me?"

I picked him up. "Nope, I missed it. Hydra was talking to me. Sorry."

"It's okay," he said. "Hydra is very distracting."

"I am not!" She said indignantly.

I laughed. "Oh, yes, you are."

"For something small, she sure knows how to pull the whole room," Lloyd said as he came over with Jonathan following behind him.

"Hey! Who's side are you on?" Hydra demanded.

"My wife's and son," Lloyd replied.

"Ugh."

I put Kenako down. "You boys are getting better," I told them.

"Really?" Kenako asked hopefully.

I nodded seriously. "With a little more practice you'll be as good as your father."

"Yay!" Both boys yelled. They both ran back over and started hitting the dummies.

"You might want to get over there," I said to Lloyd.

He sighed. "I know." He walked over to them and began instructing again.

I smiled and left the training room. I found Harumi and Nya in the kitchen. Harumi was pregnant and hated it when she got cravings. Right now she was eating a salad. "Cravings?" I asked.

She nodded. "You know, this is the tenth time I had to eat a salad. I'm beginning to hate salads."

I laughed. "Oh, Harumi. You're only three months in. You still have four more to go."

She made a face. "I want to skip the time."

"Well, you can't," Nya said unhappily.

I looked at her. "Jay still refusing to have kids with you?"

She nodded. "Everyone else is having kids, why can't we?"

"Pixel isn't," Harumi pointed out.

"Pixel can't get pregnant because she's a robot!"

"Nindroid," I corrected.

"Same thing!"

I sat down. "Pix and Zane can adopt and they haven't yet, Nya. And Kai just proposed to Skylor."

"I better beat my brother to having kids," Nya muttered. "I've been in a relationship longer."

"Actually, you haven't," I said thinking. "Kai and Skylor got together after you guys fought Chen. They've been together for a long time. You and Jay have only been together since the Jinn."

She glared. "Who's side are you on?"

"My own."

Harumi finished her salad and ended up making another one. "Maybe Y/n can talk to Jay and convince him."

I scowled. "Why me?"

"Because you've had two kids."

"It should be Lloyd who talks to him since they're both males and Lloyd used to have the same fears as Jay."

"Good idea," Nya said eagerly. "I'll go tell Lloyd." She made to leave.

I grabbed her arm. "Not until the training hour is done."

She looked at the time. "But that means I have to wait twenty minutes!"

I let her go and shrugged. "The boys really want to be like their father. Just let Lloyd finish training them and you can go ask."

She sighed. "Okay. How are the boys doing?"

I smiled. "They're doing great."

"Kenako falls a lot," Hydra muttered.

"He's three," I said. "He's going to fall a lot."

"I'm glad the boys are close even though they are a year apart," Harumi said sighing. "I hope my kids will be."

I frowned. "Kids? You're only on your first and you're thinking of more?"

"One, you did and two, no. I'm pregnant with twins."

"Oh." I hugged her. "Congrats."

"Thanks," Harumi muttered.

"Well, I better get to work," I said stepping back.

"How is the orphanage doing?" Nya asked.

I smiled. "It's doing great! My parents are donating money to the younger kids are getting better clothes and food." I turned and left the kitchen. I went back to the training room. "Boys, Lloyd, I'm leaving."

Both boys stopped what they were doing and ran to me. "Bye, Mom," Jonathan said.

"Bye, Mommy," Kenako said. They let go and went back into their positions.

Lloyd came over and kissed me. "Be careful," he murmured.

"I will." I turned to go then paused. "Um, after you're done training the boys Nya is going to ask you to convince Jay to let them have kids."

"They're still fighting over that?"

"Yes."

He ran his fingers through his hair and sighed. "Do you want me to?"

I thought for a minute and nodded. "Nya really wants a child, Lloyd. Oh, and Harumi is having twins." I left the monastery but paused on the stairs and looked back at my home. This was ten times better than life at the palace. I love it here and I love my family. What more could a girl ask for?
