The chaos in the company (Part-1)

Silas's eyes locked onto her, his expression fierce and possessive. Esme struggled to break free, but Silas's grip was too strong.

Esme gawked at him. She couldn't help but notice how handsome Silas looked. His chiseled jawline, sharp cheekbones, and piercing dark eyes all contributed to a striking visage that left her breathless. As Silas's face drew closer to hers, Esme felt her stomach flutter.

"Where have you been all day?" he growled, his eyes blazing with intensity. "You didn't come here at all."

The tension crackled in the air like a live wire. Yet, Esme couldn't help but find humor in his possessiveness. A stifled giggle bubbled up, threatening to erupt. Esme couldn't believe he was acting like a jealous boyfriend. She tried to suppress it, but her lips still curled into a smile, her eyes dancing with mischief.

"Asking questions as if you're my boyfriend?" she teased.

"Am I not?" Silas raised one eyebrow.
