I was devastated. 
This was not the life I had imagined. He simply couldn't leave my life after ruining me and breaking my heart. I decided to teach him a lesson for cheating on me.
I hooked up with his boss, Silas Sullivan, the handsome billionaire, the desire of every woman. And guess what, my ex-boyfriend crawled back to me and begged my forgiveness. 
“My heart is breaking, Esme. I-I want you back. Please forgive me.” 
I let out a soft chuckle, shaking my head with disbelief. “Are you kidding me, Mister Ray? Forgive you! No way.” 
I smiled triumphantly as I won the game. Julian would regret hurting me, and he would come after me for my forgiveness. But little did I know I had already made a grave mistake by meddling with Silas Sullivan.

Silas woke up early, feeling restless after a night of uneasy sleep. He couldn't shake off the feeling that Esme was sleeping on the sofa while he was in the comfortable bed. His annoyance turned to Emma, and he decided to talk to her.

Pushing the blanket away, he got out of bed, intending to head to the bathroom. However, his steps halted abruptly when he saw Esme sleeping in an awkward position on the sofa.

She was lying on her back, her left leg lifted and placed on the back of the sofa, while her hands were above her head, resting on the armrests. Her head was tilted slightly to the side, her hair falling across her face. The blanket was lying on the floor. The top of her night suit was pulled up, revealing her fair skin around her stomach.
