The doctor’s suggestion

Silas frowned, the suggestion of a hospital visit clashing with his packed schedule. "Visit the hospital?" he echoed, his eyebrows raised in protest. "Honestly, Doctor, I don't have the time to spend a whole day running around for tests. Just give me the medication."

Dr. Elias's brow furrowed in concern. "Mr. Sullivan, please understand," he urged. "These medications are just a temporary solution. To determine the root cause of your discomfort, we need to conduct some tests. Only then can I prescribe the most effective treatment for your specific condition?"

"Doctor, I assure you, I'm perfectly healthy. Look at me," he gestured vaguely. "Do I appear like a sick man? Don't make it a big issue, like I am suffering from some incurable illness."

The doctor sighed, his shoulders slumping slightly. He recognized the stubborn resistance, and arguing further seemed futile.
