Using the points card

"Son, did you send the gift?" A lady with pure white long hair asked.

She was wearing a white robe and she had a very beautiful face that seemed out of this world.

She sat down on the large throne behind her and crossed her legs.

"Yes, I sent it to area 10," the male rogue human in front of her replied while bowing.

There was a vast difference between this rogue human and the other ones.

It had less tattoos.

The tattoos on its body weren't much and its voice even sounded more human than the other rogue humans.

A slight smile appeared on the lady's face before asking.

"Am I really doing the right thing?" She asked.

"Of course, mother. Everything you do is right and your decisions leads us to a better path," the rogue human gently replied.

The rogue human's tone showed respect and loyalty.

"Hmm.. you're correct. I'm doing the right thing," the lady said.

"You can go now, son." She added.

The rogue human bowed before leaving.

'It'll be tough if a low rank gifted is in area 10.'

'They shall all die… by our hands.' The rogue human thought with a fierce look while leaving.

**********

"Ugh.. what the hell.." Nathan opened his eyes and looked around.

'Where am I?' Nathan thought.

The ground, walls and even the ceiling was made of big brown bricks.

The ceiling was high and the bricks were smooth. Nathan just stood in the middle of the empty space, observing everywhere.

While Nathan was observing the big space he was, Siena was having her own thoughts.

"A portal? I've never seen anything like that before. It isn't in any of the books also," Siena said.

"Hmm.."

"I've also not heard of it," Nathan said.

This unknown space was about the size of a football field. Nathan could see the other side of the wall with his enhanced eyesight and there was a huge hole on the wall.

Suddenly, Nathan saw five earth bears coming out from the hole but they had something Nathan recognized.

"Rogue Beasts!!"

Tattoos were on their bodies and their eyes looked more menacing than the normal earth bears.

"Did the rogue humans create the portal?"

Since the tattoos were like that of the rogue humans, they were certainly involved.

"I'm sure. That's the only plausible cause of the portal." Siena replied.

Nathan readied his sword for battle. As the earth bears drew closer, Nathan's watch beeped, showing their rank.

Lower rank earth bears.

"They're stronger than that as rogue beasts," Nathan said.

The earth bears rushed towards Nathan with their claws ready to strike.

[Earth slash]

*SLASH*

Nathan swung his sword and a brown slash left it, heading towards the bears.

Before they could even react, three of the bears got cut in half.

Without fear, the remaining two continued running towards Nathan.

Nathan easily killed them with his sword. A system notification displayed in front of him.

[You have killed five Earth Bears]

[You have gained 50 points]

[Points needed to level up: 750/1000]

"Since you've gotten stronger, lower rank beasts are supposed to give 5 points," Siena said.

"Then I guess since they're stronger because of the tattoos, they're still giving 10 points," Nathan said.

"Exactly."

The stronger Nathan grew, the lower the points he receives from beasts he's stronger than.

"Wait…what happened?!"

Nathan looked around but he couldn't see the bears he just killed.

'Did they disappear?' Siena curiously thought.

Nathan was very sure they were on the ground. He was about to store their bodies in the space ring but now he couldn't find them.

"I'm sure they're real because I received points from killing them," Nathan said.

"Then something is wrong with this space. Just focus on killing the beasts for now," Siena said.

Nathan looked forward and saw 10 tattooed Earth Bears coming out from the opening.

He could see more Earth Bears coming behind those ten. He held his sword but he suddenly remembered something.

"Points card!"

Since there seemed to be more beasts coming, Nathan saw this as an opportunity to use the points card.

[Do you want to use the points card?]

[Yes] [No]

Nathan tapped yes and another message was displayed on the system screen.

[1/2 Uses remaining]

[Time remaining: 24 hours]

'The points card will expire after 24 hours. I'll have to use it to the fullest.' Nathan thought.

By the time he finished activating the points card, the bears already reached him.

*BAM*

Nathan punched the first bear on its head before killing it with his sword.

The other bears sent spikes towards him which he deflected with his sword.

The bears used the opportunity to leap towards Nathan but they didn't know the kind of speed he had.

With his amazing speed, Nathan whizzed past them and not even a second later, sword marks appeared on their necks before blood splurted out.

The remaining nine bears dropped to the ground before their bodies disappeared.

[You have killed 10 Earth Bears]

[You have gained 200 points]

[Points needed to level up: 950/1000]

Nathan was suppose to get 100 points but because of the points card, he got 200 points.

'I can level up here but I still need to find a way to leave this place.' Nathan thought.

He started walking towards the huge hole in the distance while killing the other ten bears.

He could still see more Earth Bears approaching but he continued walking while killing every single one that got to him.

By the time Nathan reached the hole, he had already killed lots of Earth Bears that disappeared.

He couldn't see any more Earth Bears but he didn't rashly pass through the hole.

Even with his enhanced eyesight, he could only see darkness when trying to look at what was ahead.

"I don't know what I'll meet ahead, so it's better to be prepared," Nathan said.

Since the bodies of the bears disappeared, he had to bring out one of the dead panther from the space ring.

He stabbed his claws into its body and started draining its blood.

He didn't know what he would meet, so he had to make sure that his ability energy and blood energy were full to be prepared for anything.

After draining the panther's blood, he kept the body inside the space ring.

"Alright, let's go."

With a serious look on his face, Nathan passed through the hole.

"Wait…what?! I'm falling!!"
