Nathan, a sixteen year old boy known for his hot temper, is forced to leave his friends and relocate to the countryside with his family after his father loses his job. In the new environment, Nathan finds solace in a nearby forest.

When he wakes up sixteen years later, he discovers he has become a vampire with elemental powers due to the mysterious woman he saw inside the forest. He also found out that she was inside him and she also had a mission of her own, but he still remained sixteen years old due to her freezing the time around him.

In return for the power she gave him, he was given a dire task to become the king of the vampires.

Determined to find his family, Nathan embarks on a thrilling journey, using his newfound abilities and the system given to him by the mysterious woman to navigate a world filled with danger and mystery. Ever since she was threatened by Nathan, and after seeing Lena kill someone in the forest in Vina Academy, Evaine had decided to distance herself from Nathan and his group.

Though, some certain things made that impossible. Things like them being selected as new members of the Special Unit. They even had to enter the same Oval Wind to the base. Not only that, their rooms were also in the same floor.

All these things made it pretty impossible for Evaine not to cross paths with them.

Though, she just decided to focus on her goal, and make sure everything was alright.

After hearing that one of the members of the Special Unit was missing, that gave her little concern, but she was still able to keep her cool.

Eventually, Evaine noticed that she hadn't seen Nathan and the others.

Normally, she shouldn't have been bothered, she was even supposed to be happy that she hadn't seen them, but she didn't know why she was feeling worried.
