They'd always have each other.

Dave's dark brown hair was styled in soft, loose waves that framed his face, giving him an almost angelic appearance. He carried a simple white bag, and the subtle sparkle of his stud earrings caught the light as he moved.

Elena gasped when she saw him. "Oh, sweetheart, you look absolutely stunning!"

Rebecca nodded in agreement, her smile warm and proud. "You're glowing, dear. Just beautiful."

"Thanks, Mom," Dave said shyly, his gaze dropping for a moment before he glanced over at Kelvin.

Kelvin, who had been leaning casually against the staircase railing, was frozen in place. His piercing eyes raked over Dave's figure, lingering on every detail. The calm, intoxicating scent emanating from Dave made it impossible for Kelvin to think clearly.

Dave raised an eyebrow at Kelvin's blatant staring, a playful smirk tugging at his lips. "You're drooling, Kelvin," he teased, rolling his eyes as he descended the final steps.

Kelvin snapped out of his daze, a lopsided grin spreading across his face. "Can you blame me?" he replied, his voice thick with admiration.

Kelvin himself looked equally captivating, dressed in all black. His long-sleeved shirt clung to his well-defined torso, tucked neatly into tailored pants. A dragon-head belt added a bold statement, while his black loafers completed the outfit with a touch of class. His hair was styled with part of it tied back, leaving the rest to cascade loosely, and his wrist gleamed with an iced-out Rolex watch.

And they're parents are dressed elegantly, looking sophisticated.

"Alright, everyone," Haymen announced, clapping his hands together. "It looks like we're all ready. Let's get going."

The group headed outside to Haymen's sleek black Mazda CX-90. The luxurious vehicle accommodated them perfectly, with Haymen and Alan taking the front seats, Rebecca and Elena in the middle, and Dave and Kelvin in the back.

As the car hummed to life, they drove toward Elegance, a high-end restaurant known for catering to those with refined tastes. Upon arrival, they stepped out one by one, their mere presence commanding attention. Passersby paused, their eyes widening as they took in the group's collective aura of sophistication and power.

Inside the restaurant, they were greeted warmly and escorted to their reserved table. The atmosphere was serene yet opulent, with soft music playing in the background.

As they settled into their seats at the table, the waiter handed them the menu, and the group began to browse through the options. Dave, still a little nervous about being in such an upscale place, smiled politely but couldn't help feeling a bit out of place. However, when Kelvin's hand brushed against his under the table, he relaxed, the warmth and familiarity of the gesture grounding him.

"So, what are you getting, Dave?" Kelvin's voice was low but teasing as he leaned over, his lips near Dave's ear. "You should go for the most expensive dish," he added, a smirk evident in his tone.

Dave chuckled nervously. "I don't know if I should," he replied, shaking his head. "Mom might have a heart attack if I order something too extravagant."

Kelvin laughed softly, brushing his thumb against Dave's hand. "I'll pay, don't worry about it. You deserve it," he said, his voice filled with affection.

"Alright, alright, cut the act." Dave said, smiling as he picked out a dish that that caught his. " You know it will be amazing if you're some kind of rich CEO and I'm a medium class boy with his parents working hard to support him" He said grinning and that made Kelvin smiled.

" You want something like that?" Kelvin asked

" Yeah, it'll be fun" Dave replied.

He leaned back in his chair, glancing around at the elegant decor, noting how the soft lighting illuminated the fine china and crystal glasses around them.

As the meal began to arrive, the conversation flowed easily. Dave and Kelvin exchanged playful banter, while their parents joined in, sharing stories from their past. The waiter moved between tables, serving them courses with impeccable timing, never interrupting the lively discussions.

Kelvin, ever the troublemaker, found opportunities to tease Dave at every chance. Whether it was the way he delicately sipped his wine or the way his eyes widened at the rich flavors of his dish, Kelvin made sure to point it out, each comment making Dave blush furiously.

"You're so cute when you're embarrassed," Kelvin remarked after Dave nearly choked on his water in surprise. Dave shot him a glare, though there was a fondness in his eyes. "Stop," he muttered, his cheeks still flushed.

But Kelvin was relentless. "How about I get you a dessert? You know, to reward you for being such a good sport."

Dave tried to act annoyed, but his laughter betrayed him. "You're impossible," he said, shaking his head, his lips curling into a smile. He couldn't help but appreciate the way Kelvin kept him on his toes.

As the meal came to an end, everyone was in good spirits, their laughter filling the air. They stood and walked out of the restaurant, their presence still commanding attention. The group decided to continue their day at the mall, and then they made their way to a dessert shop that specialized in exotic treats from around the world. The playful energy between Dave and Kelvin didn't let up, and Dave couldn't help but feel lighter with every shared glance and touch.

At the park, they strolled along the paths, taking in the peaceful atmosphere. The sun was beginning to set, casting a golden hue over everything, and Dave found himself enjoying the day more than he had expected. The park was full of families, children running and laughing, and the quiet hum of nature in the background.

As the evening drew closer, they decided to make one last stop at a restaurant for dinner. Despite their earlier indulgence, everyone was still hungry, eager for one more meal before heading home. The night had been perfect, filled with laughter, love, and a sense of contentment.

By the time they returned home, it was nearly 9 PM. The night had flown by in the best way possible, and everyone was exhausted. They exchanged their goodbyes, with Kelvin telling his parents that he'd be spending the night at Dave's place. They had no objections, knowing well enough that Dave and Kelvin's bond was deep and growing.

Inside Dave's room, the atmosphere shifted. They both had the option of continuing their playful teasing, but instead, the two of them simply let the silence settle around them. Kelvin followed Dave into the bathroom, grinning from ear to ear, but when they were finished, neither of them was in the mood for anything other than rest.

They climbed into bed, the exhaustion of the day settling in. Dave lay against Kelvin, his body relaxed against his chest, and Kelvin wrapped his arm around him, pulling him close. There was no need for words, no rush to do anything else. The warmth of their bodies together was enough.

"Goodnight, Dave," Kelvin murmured, kissing the top of his head as Dave snuggled closer.

"Goodnight, Kelvin," Dave whispered back, feeling safe and content in his arms. They drifted off to sleep, their hearts at ease, knowing that no matter what the world threw at them, they'd always have each other.
