"That's great!" Chloé exclaimed. Then, she heard Liliana's muffled cries. "Hold that thought." She stood and walked to Lily's room. 


Kemal thought about all the chaos that he had been going through lately but now, he had his Lily back, another on the way, and he was going to be able to blend his old life into this new version of him. 


Chloé came back and handed him a vial. He took it and drank. The remaining blood was shimmering in his presence. 


"How strange indeed," he said softly to nobody. When he finished it off, he felt great. He stood, took a shower, and once everyone was ready, they left to go to the park. 


Chloé and Kemal talked again about moving and the idea sounded better each time the topic was brought up.
