"what did I hear about you taking such a large sum of money from your trust fund?" Edward looked at his second son across the table. 


It baffles him as well as the others how Roarke had changed, how he had gone from being a careful and logical thinker to such a spontaneous person. 


Rick was not surprised, "being in love makes you an idiot after all" he commented, earning a deadly glare from Roarke and his parents. 


"I had to help out my girlfriend's dad" he explained, Edward wanted to say more about it but his wife stopped him. 


"Son, don't you think it's about time you introduce her to us?" 


Roarke knew they're all worried about him but he isn't an irrational person. He was disappointed that he wasn't given an iota of doubt that he knew what he was doing. Grateful for his mum for didn't question him but believed in him, he nodded, agreeing to bring her home.
