Roarke had not contacted Tessa ever since he told her to drop her details at the front desk. Taking his time to think about what's best for Ari. He had sought Becca out to find out about Tessa to know if her story checked out. After discussing with his family and Nessa, all of them had had different opinions but had left the final decision with him.
He recalled the one he had with his mother the previous day, she had come to his office, with her usual ' just passing by and decided to drop by and say hi' statement.
"How are you doing, son?" His mother asked as she watched her son massaged his forehead and nape.
Roarke had only shrugged, not knowing what to say, he's not the type used to long words or expressing his emotion, a habit which his mother was clearly aware of.
"You know" his mother picked a random book on the table and subconsciously leafed through it, "there's something called mother's instinct" she looked at her son who was starring back at her.
