Surrounded By Main Characters, I Was the Real Main Character All Along

Though it seemed like an impasse, it wasn't really that.

After all, we didn't really pose any threat to Gargamel in the first place.

Even if we were holding Gargamel hostage with blood blades at his neck, it wasn't as if we were able to actually hurt him. That was just how it was since Veronica and Elizabeth's blood blades couldn't pierce his skin.

We had already tried earlier and we hadn't been able to do a thing.

So it wasn't as if there was enough threat to make these creatures think twice about attacking us.

Gargamel was fully aware of this, so he said with a chuckle, "Do you really think that this will be enough to stop them?"

Then he said to the creatures by the door, "Ignore them and attack! They won't be able to hurt me!"

The creatures hesitated for a second, but they started moving forward in the end.
