"Where are you going, Arya? You should rest a bit more. You must be jet-lagged still," Tania asked, pausing me at the door.
"Ugh! I need to get out. It's been two days since I have been resting without a pause. I am going to Central Park." I lied and began to put on my jacket from the coat stand.
"This dressed up?" she inquired skeptically observing my formal peplum dress with heels.
"Yeah! I am meeting a friend just around the corner. We might grab some supper too," I told her.
"Wait! Let me come along. I would drop you off," she spoke, kept one of her current reads on maternity down.
"Oh! No! Bhabhi. You stay here. I am just going to walk around the corner. Please! I will be fine. I am taking my phone along in case you need to track me down," I commented light-heartedly and opened the door.
I heard her utter something from behind but I was already steps away from her.
