Chapter 7

"I am sor- Don't even bother talking to me! I am busy!" Phantom made several attempts to speak to Savannah, but the woman refused to engage in conversation.

Since yesterday, the woman and he have not exchanged any words. The only time he will be quiet is when they are eating or getting food.

They have now been there for four days without seeing anyone who can come to their aid, and they have not seen anyone else on the island. While Phantom was left behind in the hut that the woman had built, Savannah explored the rest of the island.

When Savannah came to conduct her survey of the island, the only inhabitants she found were the plants and animals.

She reasoned that this must be a relatively uninhabited island due to its size and the absence of human beings. There is not the slightest indication that anyone other

than the two of them handled it.

"I would—I told you, don't bother talking to me!" Phantom was about to continue speaking, but the woman interrupted him again. Savannah was standing at a distance of two feet from the man.

They secured the hut with ropes and other materials so that even in the face of high winds, it would not be dislodged. They simply expressed gratitude that it did not rain at the time.

Phantom let out a sigh. During the time that they spent on the island together, he picked up on a number of the girl's routines and quirks.

She was unyielding to a ridiculous degree. She has a quick temper and a stubborn disposition. When she doesn't want anything, she makes it clear that she's not interested in having it. Her pride is very strong as well. In addition to that, she was a really courageous woman.

Savannah has not been afraid of any of the wild animals they have encountered, notably the snakes, in contrast to him, who has always fled when confronted with wild animals.

"I'm going to simply invite you to eat because I know you're starving," he said. "I beg you, eat what you've been given. I won't disturb you again for a little while. I promise." He turned and addressed the woman, saying, "I'll just go fishing first so you don't get mad at my face."

He was concerned about her, and the very act of approaching Savannah caused his heart to continue racing. It is imperative that he put a stop to it before he engages in behaviors that are not essential.

Savannah was in the middle of something, but she paused to glance at the man. He parted ways with her by walking away. The woman let out a sigh.

She felt ashamed of herself. The man cannot stop staring at her, and at the same time, her stomach is twisting and curling more and more.

'Are they the butterflies in my stomach that everyone talks about? If that's the case, then why is this occurring to me right now?' She asked.

She had a crystal-clear view of the man's strong back, which she believed was the key to unlocking the mystery of his entire being.

"Why is he acting like this toward me?" Savannah spoke in a hushed tone.

The place had been silent, and there was no sign that anyone was still trying to save them. They do not suffer from boredom. The act of walking about and hunting for meals in this area is not dull but rather terrifying.

However, whenever they are in the same space together, Savannah can't help but feel the need to play the part of a woman in order to demonstrate to the man that she, too, is a woman and that she desires for men to view her as a woman.

Phantom was unaware of it at the time. One reason Savannah stays away from him is not because of what happened the other day, but rather because the man treated her as if he were more knowledgeable than she is about this situation.

Savannah wished for that, but she believes it would be unfair to her to do so. She is also a woman, and she aspires to be regarded as a woman for reasons other than the fact that that is how she presents herself.

She let out a sigh and turned her gaze upward. On the one hand, she is homesick for her bed, her brothers, and their Hacienda, but on the other hand, she has this strong desire to remain with that man.

Because she had never experienced these emotions before, she had no idea what they were. Savannah shrugged it off and continued eating despite the distraction.

They have now consumed all of the flesh from the wild pig that they captured the previous day. They are interested in having fish for lunch and dinner once more today. Phantom went ahead of her, and she will come behind him later.

Before she can face the man, she needs to take a moment to collect herself. When she was in his presence, she couldn't help but flush with embarrassment.

"You bloody heart, what are you trying to do to me? Why do you persist in beating him when that obnoxious fellow is in the vicinity? I merely need to be free from my

father; I don't care about love or anything else." She stated this while releasing a breath.

After eating, it took Savannah some time to process the food. When they really required medical attention, there were no doctors available. At this point, they have no one else to rely on but themselves.

The lady got out of her seat and stood up. She followed Phantom wherever he went. There are quite a few fish that can be found on the rocks that are located on the left side of this island. Their method of communication with those who would come to their aid was the red cloth that Savannah had discovered among the items that the typhoon had swept away.

In addition to that, they signal aircraft. The word help is spelled out using rocks that have been pieced together to make the letters.

Savannah is the one who brought the makeup spear along. She gives off the impression that she is an Amazonian warrior getting ready to do battle, but in reality, she is going to spear some fish for them to eat.

"I really like this stuff." She mumbled something while she held the spear.

She slowed down her pace so that she could prepare for the reaction that her heart would have, but that was not the issue at this point.

When Savannah observed the man lying on the rock and appearing to be in pain, her eyes widened and her mouth opened wide.

“F*ck!” Savannah yelled, and she dashed to the rock where the man was hiding. "Holy mother of God!" When she got close to Phantom, she let out a shrill gasp.

The man was muttering to himself while he held his feet. He was laughing it up. Savannah gripped the man firmly in her hands.

“Goodness! Why weren't you careful?" After taking a closer look at Phantom's foot, she let out a distressed yell.

There are several spines on each foot, which indicates that sea urchins have covered the feet. "What the hell! F*** this!" Savannah uttered a curse. Phantom could only respond with a low grunt. It was not appropriate for her to be panicking.

When Phantom glanced at Savannah, he did so with his eyes only partially open. He got a chuckle out of seeing her freak out, which brought a smile to his face.

"Don't panic, please; although you're still beautiful, I can't help but worry about you," he murmured in a shaky voice. "Even though you're still beautiful, I can't help but worry about you."

Instead of Savannah being the one who needs to be concerned, things are going in the opposite direction.

"Oh, for God's sake, be quiet. Allow me to assist you, and let's return to our hut together," she stuttered out.

"Get to your feet, and I'll see to your needs. Be careful not to step on the prickly foot!" It was at her command.

When she mentioned our hut, Phantom broke into a grin. While assisting him, Savannah tried to get him up on his feet. Every time Phantom moved his legs, he had a frowning expression on his face.

The sea urchin injured his left foot when he trod on something and needed medical attention. Savannah's thoughts were completely blank, and she was unable to fathom how she and Phantom had arrived at their hut.

Because Savannah was feeling anxious, she decided to lay Phantom down on the makeup bed. She made an effort to leave, but the man prevented her from doing so.

He questioned her by asking, "Where are you going?" Since they had been marooned on this island, the man's stranded companion had not seen the woman hold Phantom's hands until now. It's possible that she was shaking so badly because she was so anxious that she couldn't decide what to do.

"I'll put some water on to boil. While your foot is soaking in hot water, we will remove the thorn that is stuck in your foot." She offered a thoughtful explanation.

During that brief interval, Savannah's brusqueness and icy disposition were absent. The worried woman is now standing before him.

Phantom was able to comprehend her even though he was unaware of the information that she was imparting to him. "Would you kindly return? Please don't go away since I don't like being alone myself." He said it in a hushed voice.

Despite the fact that he let go of the girl's hand, he did not release Savannah's hold on his hand.

He was clinging to her with all his might, as if his life depended on it. Who would have guessed that a gigantic bubble like him would appear like a baby with a cold now? Who would have believed that?

"Don't be concerned; I won't leave you," Savannah assured him.

The woman was quick on her feet. She grabbed a can that was a part of the group that had been washed up on the island. Using bamboo tubes, they have been able to extract water from the river. She brought the water to a boil.

After she had finished doing this, she went straight into the hut where Phantom was resting while he was sweating mostly due to the fact that the male is not accustomed to living this way. It was necessary for Savannah to administer first aid to that person.

Savannah gave the man a light stroke to the top of his head. Chills and a high temperature. “Goodness!” Savannah exclaimed.

"I'm fine, but I'm getting a cold." His response was in response to Savannah's reply. The woman heaved another long breath and then let it out.

Because there was no sink available, she opted to use a towel that she had already prepared by soaking it in hot water.

Phantom was astounded by the experience as the woman placed the towel on his soles. Because it was so hot, he chewed the inside of his lip.

She snarled, "Stay still; I'll get these f*cking stings," as she attempted to remove the stingers.

Phantom gave a slight nod in response. Savannah is currently sweating profusely. In order to remove the spikes from the sea urchin, she needs to work quickly.

Before removing the thorns, Savannah wiggled the wet towel around Phantom's soles and then pulled them out. The man grimaced, but it appeared as though the agony in his leg had subsided.

"Thanks!" The man also stated that he was closing his eyes.

Savannah took a seat in the appropriate manner. She seemed to have completed her operation on Phantom's leg and wrapped it in the appropriate manner. The man will not die from the stings, but he will suffer a fever, and his body will be feeble until he recovers.

She could see that the temperature was gradually dropping, just as she had anticipated it would. “Cold. How frigid!" The man continues to mutter to himself.

"Savvy, it's a bit chilly outside." Savannah stared at him. Even when Phantom addressed her, she did not pay heed to what he said.

Because they were the only people on this island, they were able to count on each other for support. They were the only ones who had anyone else's, so it was just the two of them. She wrapped the man's body in every available piece of cloth that she could locate.

Savannah is at a loss for words. Phantom sighed, "It is still cold, Savvy," as he spoke to Savvy.

Savannah averted her eyes. Savannah was unsure whether or not she should try the one thing she knew would make him feel warmer. She is not capable of carrying it out.

She only supported it by holding Phantom's hand, but Savannah's touch did not alleviate Phantom's chilly sensations in any way.

"It's so cold..." He groaned once more. Savannah inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly. She had no choice but to agree, or she would have been left on the island all alone

with no one to talk to.

She lied down next to him and cuddled him, as any caring woman would do in that situation. Is the girl truly merely worried, or may there be something else going on?
